Old fishing cabin located on a reservoir. Wasn't what we expected. The owner John is quick to respond to issues or concerns. The furniture was wore out and uncomfortable. The couch is a fulton that was not comfortable for sitting. The beds were the worse. The mattresses were either so wore out or cheap the springs dug into your body. They were covered with plastic mattresses protectors that only added to the discomfort. Bathroom was refinished, however you had to bring your own towels. So now we are headed home with damp towels and wet washcloths. We were not made aware of this until after we booked. Row boat provided for your use. We learned normally there is no water in that area of the reservoir but due to a wet summer there was still water in that area. Not a place I would rent again.We did see some wildlife. Beaver, eagle, ducks and a young fox.
