About the host
Hosted by Joon Sung Park
The business I am currently working on was born from the simple idea of operating my own accommodation that resolves the common shortcomings typically found in traditional lodgings. If traditional accommodations were simply based on a transactional relationship between buyers and sellers, where the host merely sold a space, I wanted to create a lodging where hosts and guests could interact and engage based on their needs within the space. With this vision in mind, I remodeled a two-story detached house.
The one is fully private apartment type of house. The other ones are room type that other spaces such as living room, kitchen and bathroom is shared with others.
I believe that regardless of the type of space, whether it is a fully private apartment or a shared room where interactions are optional, it has been working well so far in terms of providing a space for hosts and guests to engage with each other.
