Apartment has Private entrances and Private concrete driveway for plenty of free parking.
6 steps to front porch on side of home.
Large covered back porch with seating and charcoal grill. Beach chairs and lightweight umbrella available. Living room, dining area, full kitchen with full size appliances and over/under washer and dryer for your personal clothes.

Bath with large walk in shower, upgraded cabinetry, towels, paper products and cleaning products all provided by owner.
Two bedrooms with queen beds in each, all linens provided
Entrance to second bedroom is through the first. Exit out of bedroom onto large Private back porch with ceiling fan, seating, charcoal grill. Ceiling Fans in kitchen, living area and main bedroom.

Roku ready Smart TVs in living room and primary bedroom. Wi-Fi. All sheets, towels, dishes, glasses, cookware, Kuerig machine, single cup or pot. ground coffee, tea, sugar, sweeteners, and Basic starter seasonings, paper products, basic condiments provided by owner!
Foil and wrap, Cleaning products, basic laundry supplies are provided. Dining table opens to seat four. Coffee table with four matching stools underneath. Linen closet with extra linens, blankets, beach towels and laundry basket.

Pat and John are the perfect hosts. They leave you be if you want to be left alone. If you want a little company, they come over with their dogs if you like dogs. The location is tucked away on a quiet little street that you don’t even know is there. However, it’s just minutes to all the fun activities at the beach. It’s exactly like it is in the pictures. Very, very clean; the beds were amazing. Everything you need from the kitchen to the bath to all the comforts of Home. Would I stay there again? 100%!

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated and our host had it filled with everything we might possibly need! It's only 5 miles to Emerald Isle located in a beautiful neighborhood...quiet and peaceful. Communication with Pat was great. I can't say enough wonderful things about this "home away from home." Highly recommended!! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time! The rental was clean, the communication was wonderful and it was just as described. Next time we come back to visit we will definitely check to see if this space is available first!

Yearly vacation

We have been to Emerald Isle 5 times. Normally we stay in a hotel. This was the best thus far. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy, and convenient place to stay this is it. Nice that it is so close to the island. We’ll definitely be staying again soon. Thank Patrica and John for our best vacation yet.

The best time!

We had the best time at 5 Miles to the beach! The location is perfect. Close to all the action but on the out skirts so it’s quiet and private. The apartment was VERY clean and well stocked. We had plenty of room for our kids to play and have their own space. Pat pays attentions to all the details and had everything we could need. We are already planning our next trip back!

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay (and more). The hosts were wonderful people and answered my (few) questions quickly. The area was close to a lot of dining (though we had a full kitchen with most to all amenities we needed) and shopping options. Unfortunately I can not comment on beach access due to the dates of our visit; however we will definitely look into rebooking this property on our future visits to the area. Truly impressive with all the comforts and amenities of being home while traveling.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience. The place was clean and extremely comfortable. I forgot to bring the bathroom trash out - so that's on me. Patti was extremely welcoming and it's a wonderful neighborhood close to all I required. Will definitely do it again. <3
