Relaxing Gateway!

The house had all the appliances and amenities that we needed. The house was very clean and had comfortable beds. It was relaxing spending time by the pool and spa. We would definitely stay here again.

Good experience

The property was well appointed; clean; modern/updated and comfortable. The owner was easy to communicate with and responsive. The location is convenient to highways and many parts of the city. The pool and backyard are great and unexpected for a cityscape location. I would recommend.

The good: the house was in a nice area, very clean, spacious and accommodatingThe bad: I felt basically harassed by the host and was asked multiple times if I was going to have a party, even though I had agreed to his house rules and told him I was traveling with two kids and family, and I am a host myself. Then at almost 11pm we get a text from the host that a noise detector *which is NOT disclosed on the listing at the time of booking* is going off- which we’re just two innocent kids playing on vacation Lastly, there was a wire by the pool equipment that can not be seen at night- as my husband attempted to find the outdoor lights he tripped and scrapped himself upOverall a wonderful VRBO with a terrible host

We want to address your concerns directly: VRBO flagged your booking as a potential party risk, which prompted us to reach out — we apologize if that felt excessive given your circumstances. We've had neighbors contact us about noise and gatherings in the past, so we take quiet hours (10pm–8am) seriously for the sake of the whole community. Regarding the noise monitor: we do disclose monitoring devices on the exterior of the property per platform guidelines. We'll review our listing to make sure this is as clear as possible for future guests. As for the pool equipment area — we have a "Do Not Enter" sign posted for guest safety, including that exact hazard. We're sorry your husband was hurt and will look at improving the lighting in that area. We hope that despite these issues, you enjoyed your vacation with your family.
