It was a great place for our guys fishing trip. There was plenty of room and it had everything we needed. It was very easy to get in and out. The host communication was very good.
Cozy with lots of light. Very close to Bennett Springs. Beds were clean and comfortable. The coffee maker needs replacing (it took 2 hours to make a full pot). Lots of dead bugs and cobwebs. Needs a deep cleaning. Bring your own bar of soap. It's a bit overpriced for the area but sleeps lots of people.
Amanda,A few items you might address.Clear instuctions on how to deadbolt the front door from the inside. Location of the kitchen lights, as they are behind the refridgerator. The upstairs smoke detector was missing. There is fireplace creasote in the wood burning stove, so we did not start a fire. We left the wood in the stove and on the front porch. The images on VRBO are a bit misleading, as it relates to the basement sleeping area. And as we noted, the drains seem to be slow to drain. Some instructions on how to operate the TV/cable/satellite set-up. Great view, nice cabin feel. Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback and for staying with us.
We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. Our maintenance team was able to respond quickly during your stay to address the drains, and we’re glad the TV issue was easily resolved as well.
We’ll review the additional notes regarding the smoke detector, fireplace, and guest instructions to see where we can improve clarity and make the experience easier for future guests. Many common cabin questions are also included within our VRBO guide, but we understand that clearer in-cabin guidance can still be helpful.
We’re glad you enjoyed the views and cabin atmosphere, and we appreciate you choosing to stay with us.
Second stay with this host. Responsive to pre trip questions, A! Good accommodation for our party of 6! Front deck good for shedding waders, etc. and rear deck just great for happy hour and dining.
Great location for a family fishing trip! The place is just like the pictures and only a few minutes from the state park. The house has a great feel and is setup perfect. This is the place we stay for our annual trip and will definitely be back!
The property was overall a nice place…. Just with a group of adults needs another couch … only had enough places for 4 people to sit in the living room.
We stayed over Thanksgiving - myself and my three kids 13 - 19 and our dog. We had the perfect escape. We ate like crazy, laid around, watched the entire first Stranger Things drop of episodes together, played games at the big table, did a great hike down at the Bennett Springs park. Host answered so many questions from me as I planned transporting a Thanksgiving meal to prepare there. Highly recommend, she was great to work with and obviously takes a lot of pride in this cabin get-a-way.

Thank you so much for this incredibly kind review. It truly means more than you know. Hosting you and your kids over Thanksgiving was such a joy, and I love picturing your family cooking together, hiking at Bennett Spring, and curling up to watch Stranger Things — that’s exactly the kind of togetherness we hope our cozy cabin creates.
We really enjoyed our stay. We took our adult kids on a first time float and bonding trip. The cabin was perfect for our situation. We will probably book again next year. The only issue we had was the trash cans out front were full when we checked in and racoons got in and had it spread out both mornings when we got up.
Great place to stay for our friends fishing trip. Had everything we needed and the best access to the park you could ask for. Our new go-to spot!

This was our second boys fishing trip. My brother and my son this year, my nephew wasn’t able to make it. We will definitely try to make it our annual staying place. It was very clean and comfortable. Also a big plus to be so close to the fishing at Bennett Spring.
This is a very nice, comfortable cabin. It is very close to Bennett Spring and perfect for a few people or a bigger group. Easy access right off Hwy 64, very clean and secure. We would not hesitate to book this cabin again.
This was a great place to stay for our fishing trip. We had a great time and really enjoyed the place. We had great communication and quick response with any issues we had. I would love to stay here again during our next trip.

This picture was taken on our annual Friends and Family float on the beautiful, spring-fed Niangua River. What a great time we had! The cabin is just minutes from our Campground ... which is called Riverfront. Riverfront offers 250 beautiful acres of camping along the bank of the Niangua River. While staying at the cabin, your family and friends should consider a rafting, canoeing, tubing or kayaking trip. Great Memories!!
Why they chose this property
There are few lodging options for larger families or friends near the Niangua River. When this property came on the market, we jumped on it because it fits a niche. It is just one mile from Riverfront. We offer a free shuttle service for float trips which makes this awesome vacation home perfect for groups wanting to come stay and play on the Niangua River. It is an amazing feeling to be on the river all day and then return to a clean comfortable cabin to relax.
What makes this property unique
Danceyard Cabin has many unique characteristics. The second we walked into the cabin, we wanted it. The high ceilings, tongue and groove siding, and the large open floor plan makes this home very inviting. The finished basement provides a lot of additional square footage. There is a large covered porch off the back of the cabin that is simply wonderful for evening meals or morning coffee. The cabin sits on a private 3 acre lot which offers lots of privacy for campfires, story telling, and smores.
