Older vintage classic Big Bear Cabin. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear on a quiet cul-de-sac and just a short drive to the Village, lake, and more. Close to National Forest hiking trails. This affordable and rustic cabin comes equipped with everything you need for a comfortable mountain getaway!

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1100+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, a TV, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating. Older furnishings and decor.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 2 bath. First bedroom has a queen bed and private deck. Second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin/twin bunk bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Granite countertops, stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - TV (no cable) with a Blu-Ray DVD player. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with side-by-side washer/dryer. To keep this home in the spirit of a true getaway, the homeowner has opted to not have WiFi.

OUTDOORS - Gas barbecue and outdoor seating. Large wrap-around deck and yard.

Excellent cabin

Cool cabins is a professional company that provided excellent service for my family during our stay over Christmas at this rustic and quaint cabin. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Big bear getaway

Overall good, the cabin can definitely use updating. My only concern was once I cleared all the snow off the back deck there was a board broken right out the front door which seemed like a safety hazard then when walking down the stairs off the back deck there was a broken step. Glad I found it with the shovel as opposed to stepping on it. Lastly it would be nice to have wifi mainly for movies and the extra charge to take care of the trash is a joke with that you’re already paying for the cabin. Decent trip but wouldn’t stay at this cabin again

Serves our trip well

This place is very close to all the nearby hotspots for vacation. Close to the resort, hikes, lakes, and shopping/restaurants. It was a last minute trip and we found this place with very reasonable pricing. With that being said, this place is very very dated. Furniture is very old and bedding looks pretty worn out. Bathrooms are dated, but clean. Kitchen looks updated with all the amenities. The backyard and grill served us well and was very nice to relax in after a good day of hiking. Overall, the place is suitable for a nice weekend stay, but just keep your expectations lower. We cannot complain considering the pricing is very good for the area.

Great family friendly cabin

We loved our stay here at Cardinal Ridge. Our girls loved the exploring the cabin and the backyard and we enjoyed the cozy feel of it all. We appreciated the tiny touches, like soap in bathrooms and sink, coffee and filters, etc. Only issue was running the dishwasher which was on same switch as the disposal. Wonderful cabin - we hope to stay again!

Exactly what our family needed!!

This was our second time this year staying at Cardinal ridge.... We had an amazing time. It was perfect for our family who just wanted to get away for the weekend after recently losing our grandmother.... This was just exactly what was needed.... Our family made memories that will last us a lifetime!!

We had an awesome time at Cardinal Ridge!!

It was easy to find and when we arrived we immediately felt comfortable. The cabin warmed up quick and there was plenty of space for our family (7). The kids enjoyed the backyard area and there were enough table wear for everyone and pans as well!! We will definitely be back for more fun!!

Amazing Cabin

It was the first time I made a booking through cool cabins website. We had the best time ever, and myself and family enjoyed a lot. Everything went perfectly since reservation was done. The cabin is cozy and very confortable . We are definitely coming back to Big Bear and stay at Cardinal Ridge again. Hope we could stay longer next time as we just stayed one night. Lovely and Cozy Cabin

Lovely and Cozy Cabin , my family and I had a great time, there was some snow so kids got to play . I loved the kitchen it was big and very well supplied. I would recommend to a friend or family member

Quick Turnaround

The location is great and if you have children, there is a great little slop to the side of the house that the kids can play. I thought it was so kind of the owners to have sleds available. My only complaint is that it didn't feel clean. The carpets were torn and the Dish TV didn't work. We only stayed for one night so we were in and out. The place served its purpose and the kids had fun.
