Le complexe est niché dans un jardin luxuriant de citronniers dans la réserve naturelle de Cava Grande del Cassibile. Au pied des montagnes Iblei et à 3 km de la mer Ionienne.

Le quartier est très recherchée surtout pour son cristallin et des eaux cristallines. La plage est connue comme la «Pineta Gelsomineto» également appelé «La Marquise» et les frontières sur une belle falaise. Ici se termine la Cassibile, la rivière des célèbres lacs Cavagrande.
Jusqu'à 8 personnes, dans un endroit rustique, entièrement meublé, comprenant 1 entrée, salon, 2 chambres, 1 cuisine avec four électrique, 2 réfrigérateur, TV 1satellite et wi-fi, 2 salles de bains avec douche et machine à laver. À l'extérieur meublé (tables, chaises, bancs, parasols, hamacs et chaises longues) avec: piscine (10x5 mètres), en plein air, douche, lavabo, barbecue, four à bois et un parking.
L'emplacement est extraordinaire. La ville est connue pour ses longues plages de sable blanc et sa mer cristalline, qui a décerné «5 voiles» chaque année par la Ligue de l'environnement. La nourriture est excellente et le vin dans la région, il est aussi au cœur de sites du patrimoine mondial de la Val di Noto et est riche en réserves naturelles (Vendicari Cavagrande, Cyane, Pantalica). En plus des réserves naturelles à 30 km (demi-heure de route), vous pouvez facilement visiter:

Charming house

We had a very nice stay at the house. The view is beautifull and the host is really friendly and helpfull. Nice villages are nearby.

If Heaven was a place on earth......

We enjoyed `a three night stay here and would highly recommend using this location as a base for travelling the East side of Sicily. The accommodation is stunning and the plot idyllic. The facilities were spotless and well-equipped. Extra bonuses were: A great herb garden, Spillo the Dog AKA Scooby Doo and the friendly cats ! Last but by no means least the owner Corrado is an absolute star - gave up 3 hours to discuss what to see, where to eat and responded to any questions within 5 minutes. All in all a fantastic holiday.....see u soon Spillo !!!

Fantastic, relaxing holiday!

What a wonderful holiday house, gorgeously located in the midst of lemon trees, with views of sparkling sea and rocky hills, with a friendly and knowledgable host. We stayed for a week with our children (6 and 4) whose favourite thing about Sicily was Spillo the "holiday dog"! A fantastic place to relax and chill out, peaceful and tons of outside space. Everything we needed in the house too, which could easily accommodate a larger group in the 2 large bedrooms. A car is definitely needed but the house is perfectly situated to reach beautiful SE Sicily, we also went to Mount Etna and Taormima both within easy reach. Corrado gave us lots of tips on places to visit and where to eat, our favourite day was the walk at Cava Grande. A stunning place, we hope to return soon. Thanks Corrado!

Tout s'est excellemment déroulé. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire avant l'arrivée.A notre arrivée, une bouteille de vin local et des amandes d'Avola nous attendaient.La maison est une ancienne ferme très joliment rénovée avec tout le nécessaire. Le lieu campagne est paisible et permet de se reposer à l'extérieur (terrasse, piscine). La presence sur la propriété du chien Spilo et des deux chats est vraiment très sympa (ils sont si gentils et affectueux).La localisation de la maison nécessite un vehicule. Vous êtes à 15 minutes de magnifiques plages (pour notre part nous avons testé celles de Cassibile et Noto: top!). Vous êtes également dans une position centrale pour visiter la Sicile Baroque. Enfin le propriétaire Corrado est réellement aux petits soins avec vous (sans être envahissant).15 jours passés en août lors desquels nous avons pu nous déconnecter.

Séjour très plaisant

Corrado est un hôte extrêmement agréable et prévenant. Il y avait un souci avec la piscine et il l a réglé immédiatement, il nous a offert un repas avec de la street food sicilienne. La maison est rustique, il y avait une portée de chatons ce qui a fait la joie de mes filles. La maison est bien placée et l environnement calme.

very relaxing holidays

We had a great stay for two beautiful weeks. The big pool with the view to the sea was amazing , so we had a lots of fun. Our childs loved the big garden with many fruit trees and also the pets. Going back home we've many discussions why we don't could have a dog too. Many thanks to Corrado for the sight-seeing tips and the warm welcome! May we see you again.

Amazing Stay in the Avila Countryside

Our stay was perfect! The house is lovely, set amongst a sea of lemon trees. There was plenty of room for the seven people in our group and plenty of outdoor space. We loved using the pizza oven, which was amazing, and would have been content to spend most of our time on the property with the cutest dog in the world, Spillo, and the cats. However, we were given so many excellent suggestions of places to visit from Corrado that we managed to see quite a bit of Sicily’s south eastern region. We would happily return as we feel as though we just scratched the surface of amazing places to visit in Sicily. Thanks Corrado for everything! You were a wonderful host!

A great place to relax

This is an excellent place to discover the area : you are close to many beautiful spots : Siracusa, Cava Grande, Vendicari, Noto... The house and garden are really charming , a great place to relax , and the swimming pool is a great plus ! Also Corrado was an incredible host , with a lot of attentions for us to help us visiting the best spots , eating the best food, drinking the best wine... We'll remember him for a long time. And, last but not least, the dog Spillo and all the cats were beloved by all the family , Spillo being acclaimed as the nicest dog of Sicily :-) Valerie Capron

Sicilian paradise

Sicilian Paradise This villa is just heaven and in a perfect location for travelling to the nearby towns of Avola and Noto as well as the spectacular Cava Grande. The villa is so idyllic that you may not even want to venture out! Corrado made us feel so, so special and went over and above his duty to advise us about the area. He exudes Sicilian charm!! Take all of his advice as it will be invaluable. The local beaches are spectacular and you are only a short drive from the local shops which sell everything that you will need. The fruit and olive trees surround you and you have a herb garden directly outside your door. The sweet smell of jasmine and lavender radiates and intoxicates you. Spilo the dog and the cats brought so much entertainment for the children. They loved the fact that there were also 4 kittens which were usually sheltered under the rosemary bush. I would definitely recommend making up a pasta dish using the herbs outside whilst dancing around the kitchen, listening to Corrado's selection of CDs with a vino! I believe this is the best holiday of my life- only made so by the location, the people (especially Corrado) and the food. Very tearful leaving and will most definitely return. I cannot recommend this piece of heaven enough!!!

Erholsames, ländliches Sommerhaus

Insgesamt haben wir 10 schöne Tage im Haus verbracht. Das Grundstück ist sehr weitläufig und mit vielen Obstbäumen (v. a. Zitronen) bewachsen. Alles ist sehr sauber und top gepflegt. Die Austattung ist sizilianisch einfach aber zweckmäßig. Der Pool ist super um sich nach den Tagesausflügen zu erholen oder um zu entspannen. Top sind auch die Außendusche und die klimatisierten Zimmer. Das Haus sei aber ausschließlich Tierliebhabern empfohlen. 10 Katzen und zwei Hunde konnten auch manchmal etwas viel sein. Corrado hat sich außerordentlich gut und liebevoll um uns gekümmert und stand uns stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Insgesamt ein tolles Feriendomizil.

dream vacation

We were there with our 4 children. Already when getting out of the car the joy and reaction of the children was a dream. We had a very nice 2 weeks. The landlord is very friendly and helpful. The house corresponds to the pictures and we felt very comfortable. The highlight was the pool and the many animals.

То что надо!!!

Это безусловно исторический микс - хозяин и его дом. Теплота души и теплота дома слились воедино. Обрамлённый лимонными деревьями дом, как снаружи так и внутри хранит в себе традиции острова. Мы просыпались под пение птиц с нашим 4 летним сыном и засыпали под невероятной луной вместе с прекрасным псом Спилло. Каждому,кому не безразлично истинное гостеприимство -рекомендуем!

Stunning setting with Mediterranean views to the south and Mountains views to the north. Wow!

Traveled in late April 2018 as a family of 4, staying for 7 days. The experience of staying in an authentic Sicilian agricultural setting (the local farm co-op harvested the potatoes from the adjacent property during our stay) in a converted farmhouse, provided a truly unique appreciation of what makes Sicily so attractive and special. The outdoor spaces around the farmhouse were outstanding with lots of variety and room for everyone to have their "own space" within the lemon orchard, the pool area or the various sheltered patios. My favourite feature was the secluded outdoor shower with great views of the mountains. It makes you want to never shower indoors again! The farmhouse looks to be a faithful conversion of a rustic farmhouse with out buildings. It was full of character, very clean and highly functional with lots of room for 4 people. The outdoor grill and pizza oven (using the available pruned lemon branches for fuel) were fun accessories. The location is close to Avola making it convenient to shop, dine out and readily access the wide variety of local historical (Noto etc.) and recreational sites (beaches etc.). The owner Corrado was readily available and provided lots of valuable info regarding local sites, restaurants etc. The rest of Corrado's "team" consisting of Spillo the dog and the various cats were fun to have around the property adding to the farm like ambiance. All in all, this rental complimented and enhanced a great holiday in Sicily.

Little Paradise

We had a very pleasant stay at the Farmhouse. It's a big property and you can sit and eat outside between lemon and olive trees. Each room has its own cozy and creative design. From the pool you have a great view at the sea. The host Corrado is a really nice and helpful person. He gave us good tips and information about interesting places you can visit in the region. We enjoyed the company of the cats and the dog Spillo.

Um ins sizilianische Leben einzutauchen eignet sich dieses Feriendomizil ganz hervorragend. Eine ruhige Lage, ein tolle Pool und einriesiges Grundstück mit einem Hund und vier Katzen lassen einen sofort entspannen. Der Vermieter ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit und gibt einem tolle Urlaubstipps.

We had a great week in the villa. Our two sons, aged 8 & 10, loved the pool, playing with the dog and cats, and climbing the big old olive tree. Corrado, the owner, comes every day to feed the animals and often brought us some local specialities as a treat. He also gives you loads of information about the surrounding area, including the best places to eat and drink. Unfortunately, a week wasn't long enough to see all of the sights... The local beach is great and only 5 minutes away so we managed to get a swim in the sea most mornings or evenings. The villa is full of charm and very clean. Plumbing in the area is a bit of an issue so you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet. This took a bit of getting used and if I was going back, I'd take a box of sanitiary bags with me. Thanks for a lovely holiday Corrado, we hope to see you and Spillo again! Alison, Alan, Noah & Zach x
