We had a wonderful stay - Valerie was so nice and so communicative throughout our stay. The house was in a perfect location, walkable to both the beach and town (grocery store/restaurants). The house had everything we needed. We also loved the screened in porch! Would definitely recommend staying here!

This was an awesome experience! The house was clean and very well kept! The host was great very hospitable, and communication was always quick and seamless! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in the area!

We love this home & Oak Island

It was our first time to the area and we love it! The home was beautiful and a great location. The host Valerie was very helpful, accommodating and caring.

Great place

This is a great place to stay. Owner was very helpful and timely. Had every thing we needed. Great back porch that we used every morning and night. Will stay again if in Oak Island.

Great home for a memorable family vacation!

We loved our time here and made many great family memories. Highly recommend this place. Was only a short 12 minute scenic walk to the beach or a 2 minute drive. Very convenient to the beach, Oak Island, and Southport restaurants ect. The screened in porch was really nice as well. Host was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay.

Great cottage stay!

The home was beautiful! Plenty of room along with all the amenities we could ask for - very comfortable. The location was a central drive to the village, beach and other areas of our interest. We enjoyed the quietness offered during the evening hours - very nice!

Oak Island getaway

Property and owners were great-this was the perfect extra place to supplement our beach house when we found out we’d have extras along that we didn’t originally anticipate. Communication was great and property was just what we needed.

BEAUTIFUL !!!

I and my husband, retired couple, were very happy to stay in "4AllSeasons" for our short beach/ocean retreat. The host Valerie was very nice and easy to communicate with ,she was very helpful with all that tips and instructions for us to better orienting in the area. The house is so beautiful and cozy and also so very clean ( and I am very picky person about cleanness ) It was Perfection!!! The location is great, in quiet nice neighborhood, 1min drive to the beach, very convenient and if some day we will come back to the island we would love to stay here again. Thank you,Valerie, for such a nice job to keep your house so welcoming for visitors, clean and so beautiful! We did enjoy it!

Perfect beach vacation

My family had a wonderful time at this property. Valerie kept in contact with us and every question I had she got right back to me. The house is immaculate and so tastefully decorated. The kitchen is equipped for anything you want to cook and has plenty of room. The outside screened porch was perfect to sit on and unwind from a day at the beach. We didn’t watch a lot of tv but if you wanted to the house has internet and smart TVs . Thankfully we had good weather but if it had been rainy the house had enough board games and movies to keep you entertained. My only suggestion for travelers would be to rent a golf cart in advance, they were sold out when we got there. We drove our car to the beach access . It is walkable but we had a lot of stuff. Overall this is a wonderful property and would definitely recommend.

July Family Vacation

Staying in "4 All Seasons" was like staying with an old friend. Valerie was very welcoming from the moment we made the reservation. When we arrived at the beach house, we found it to be a cozy and well-appointed home. There was just enough room for our family of 6 (2 adults, a 4yr old, 10yr old, and 2 16yr olds). We particularly enjoyed the screened in back porch and the garden tub in the master bath. The beach is a walkable distance of about 10-15min, but we preferred to drive due to the number of things we had to carry. You do have to pay to park at the public beach access points, but it's free after 5pm which was perfect for us. We spent from 5-sunset each day at the beach and during those hours we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. The beach was much more crowded during the day. Overall, we enjoyed Oak Island. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the island and it's convenient to Southport and other local coastal towns.

Perfect place to stay

This place was prefect for our family getaway. The kitchen is very well-stocked. The furniture is clean and comfortable. The screened-in back porch is perfect for morning coffee and quiet evenings and shelter from the rain and bugs. We did not have a want for anything. The owners are very communicative and friendly. We really enjoyed our trip and will be back to this same property again!

Great location

The home was in a fantastic location and an easy 5 min drive to the beach. We were never there during the day so cannot comment on traffic noise, etc. I can say it was not a bother at night. Interior was as described online. It was a very nice home in a great location, and we would stay there again.

Wonderful visit!

We had a short-but-sweet (3+ full days) stay at "4 All Seasons". The house was sparkling clean, comfortable, nicely decorated with a charming beach theme, and the size was just right for the 4 of us. Because the house is on a corner of a main road there is some road noise at different times of the day, but it wasn’t problematic for us. We discovered that the house is stocked with things to do: dozens of DVDs, CDs, puzzle books, board games, etc. But realistically, if you’re staying there you’re most likely heading to the beach! OKI beach just might be one of our new favorites: it is family-friendly, clean, un-crowded, and offers free parking! Definitely a “locals” vibe rather than touristy. Valerie is a great host, very responsive, accommodating, and friendly; she made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s house. We had an enjoyable stay, and can easily recommend “4 All Seasons” for your visit to Oak Island.

A Comfortable and Welcome Home Away from Home

The Dorsetts obviously have put their hearts into sharing this beautifully and comfortably decorated and stocked home with all the personal touches and bountifully stocked amenities....and then some. We felt like we were staying with family.
