Impressed
First things first; you and your team (Julie, Lisa, and Linda) delivered on every aspect of our vacationâI could not have been more impressed or more appreciative. The proximity to the charming town (Iâm pleased to say we always walked it both ways) and the endless options for hiking and biking (a big hit with my sons) and sightseeing made every day special. The Chalet itself is, of course, spectacular, but what made the vacation was the extraordinary team you have there. Arriving at the cab station well past midnight to be met by Klodi, and having a delightful meal ready for us when weâre exited the cabs at the Chalet was the tip-off that this was going to be a special week. Frankly, we could not have remotely expected the level of service, professionalism and friendliness that we received every day: Klodi was beyond helpful in all matters large and small; he impressed us every day and is simply a delightful person. He and his entire team operate seamlessly to deliver a level of hospitality that surpasses anything that I have experienced in decades of travel to many wonderful hotel, lodges, and homes. My daughter and daughters-in-law (and wife) initially were convinced that Jude Law was preparing for a new movie role as a chef; but one dinner in, we knew we were in the presence of a professional chef, not an actor. Every meal Alistair created was a special occasion, and my daughter Emmaâs birthday dinner/party was as enjoyable an evening as I have ever experienced. Not only did Klodi plan out a dinner on the deck, followed by a fire and large quantities of wine late into the night, but Alistair made a wonderful meal and cake and the team decorated everything â so unexpected and so delightful!
