Hike to majestic waterfalls right from the property and community trails! The home features incredible long range mountain views, a stone fire, a new hot tub and a pool/ping pong table. Enjoy the mountain views from the large back deck. With stunning long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and only 23 miles to Asheville and 8 miles to Black Mountain, this is the epitome of mountain vacation home living in Western North Carolina. The home features an open floor plan, great room with vaulted ceiling and pristine long range mountain views. Catawba Falls Preserve is a gated mountain community preserve with paved roads and miles of hiking trails. The community backs up to the Pisgah National Forest and is the home for an abundance of wildlife.

This home is set up perfectly for multi generational families, 2-3 different families or multiple couples to vacation together. It is also perfect for an executive company gathering. This home has five large private king ensuite bedrooms with 2 on the main and 3 on the upper levels. The main floor has 2 king ensuite bedrooms. The upper level has 1 king ensuite bedroom and 2 king jack and jill bedrooms. Both levels have a split design plan. The home can accommodate 10 comfortably in beds. Each king bedroom, the great room and game room has a TV. We have fast high speed wifi internet that should be able to handle most needs including streaming movies, downloading, zooming, etc.

The property is very quiet, peaceful and private and sits on over 10 acres with breathtaking views all around. There is an easy paved, private circular driveway to the property. Enter into the garage on the main level with minimal steps. The deck wraps around with plenty of seating and relaxing. For nature lovers, there is hiking, waterfalls and abundant wildlife in the Preserve. Our community has miles of hiking trails along the pristine streams and rivers with waterfalls. Elevation is around 2800 feet. The closest airport is Asheville, about 45 minutes from the property. Charlotte airport is about an hour and 45 minutes.

The beds are all made up prior to your arrival and we provide towels and linens. The kitchen is very well stocked with most items needed to enjoy your vacation. There are some spices available. Please note the following items: Regular drip and Keurig coffee makers; tea kettle; toaster oven and bread toaster, blender, hand mixer, Cuisinart; knife set; plenty of dishes, plates, silverware, glasses, etc; mixing bowls; tupperware; cookie sheets; cutting board; plenty of pots and pans.

We take cleaning our cabin very seriously. We have instructed our crew on the latest recommendations such as using the highest heat setting for washing linens and towels, airing out the cabin during cleanings, disinfecting all touched surfaces including counters, door knobs, light switches, remotes, railings, etc. No large weddings, parties or events over the maximum occupancy of the home permitted. We are pet friendly. Up to 2 well behaved dogs permitted (sorry, no cats or chewing puppies allowed) with prior approval and $195 pet rent fee. Summer, holidays and October Leaf Season may have a one week minimum.
