About Angel and Mabel Rivera
We are hardworking professionals who enjoy the city life and enjoy escaping to the mountains as much as we can. We enjoy riding our motorcycle, ballroom dancing, and traveling. We have 2 miniature schnauzers.
Angel and Mabel Rivera purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Angel and Mabel Rivera chose Sevierville
We have enjoyed coming to the Smokies for over 17 years and worked hard to finally purchase Storyteller. We remember the realtor taking us around town to see cabins but the minute we walked into Storyteller, we were hooked. The gazebo is what gave us the idea to call the cabin Storyteller. Our families were used to gathering for hours on end and telling stories about life, funny moments, and stories they wanted us to remember and pass on.
What makes this Cabin unique
When staying at Storyteller, we enjoy the scenery of the mountains, rafting, shopping, but most of all doing nothing at all; just relaxing.

Gorgeous cabin tucked away in the mountains
we had a great time staying at this cabin! the kids loved the pool table in the basement and we had everything we needed for a family of 6. we love this location near the "secret" entrance to the park. we also had a great time fishing in the 2 ponds. walking a half mile up hill was my daily exercise. the hosts were also fabulous. any questions I had - immediate responses and lots of great tips! thanks again!!!
Breathtaking view! We had all we needed and enjoyed a comfortable stay at the storyteller cabin!
Thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation for spring break. Hot tub and deck were great with spectacular views! Nicely decorated and cozy, we loved our vacation at storyteller cabin and hope to be back! Thank you!
It was a beautiful cabin and location. Gave us a Great family vacation
We spent Spring Break 2018 at Storyteller Cabin and had an amazing family vacation. The owner's Mabel and Angel were very communicative with me from the questions on how to book as wrll as the many questions and concerns I had. This was my first time booking a cabin in this manner and so I had some anxiety with it. But my worries were me over thinking. Because everything went very smoothly.
We drove from WPB,Fl with our family of 7 plus our dog. A few days before our arrival date I recieved the door code and alarm code. So we had no issues when we arrived. I am glad we got to cabin before dark because the road to the cabin has sharp turns and steep inclines. But even with some snow and rain we did not need 4WD.
So the cabin was extremly clean and ready for us. Beautiful inside and out. The hot tub was on and working and clean and was nice to have that to use when we wanted.
Kitchen was a good size and had everything that we needed.
Bedrooms were all good sizes and perfect. Each with bathroom. Living room very nice and spacious and furniture was nice. Couch pulled out into a bed which my boys slept on.
The deck allowed us to have a amazing view of the mountians with fog and smokey affect and all. Had it been warmer we would have been outside alot more. The yard was also perfect for kids and the dog.
Going to attractions was not a big hassle. Our GPS worked fine. Although we had no cell service at cabin but they do have a landline phone and Wi-Fi.
Took about 25-35mins to get to all the attractions we planned to go too.
We ended up with car issues and Mabel and Angel gave recommendations on mechanics. The place we went too(unsure of name) was a great help.
Also with my asthma I had to make a trip to LeConte ER and the staff there was very nice and quick to get my asthma under control.
Storyteller Cabin allowed us to have a wonderful first ever family vacation. The cabin and overall area was just perfect for us. I hope we are able to return in the future for another vacation.
Great cabin, family friendly
The owners were amazing, they have set up the cabin for comfort. They even went the extra mile to ensure we knew the best local places to visit, to see, and to eat. Had everything we needed plus more! Well worth the trip and money!
We had a wonderful time and loved the cabin
Everything was great
