Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Strip sheets off all used beds placing on bed and pile used towels in each of the bathrooms.
Make sure all outdoor furniture is back in its place.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This cabin is in a well-spaced out subdivision with plenty of trees to provide privacy. Roads are a bit steep, but once you get there, you will find great mountain views and a nice back yard. Cabin was clean, cozy, and had a well-stocked kitchen. Mabel and Angel were wonderful hosts. Quick to answer any questions we had. Very warm and welcoming. Cabin was dog-friendly; they even provided dog bowls and dog towels. It was also nice to have access to a large community pool. Highly recommend this place.

It was perfect, as always. Clean, classy, inviting and comfortable with such an amazing view. Love the space in the kitchen, No issues with anything. Location is ideal in case you feel like going into town or see attractions. 5 out of 5 every time. I will be back. It's my go-to whenever I'm able to get away to the mountains. The hosts are always very easy to get ahold of as well. Thank you again!

The cabin was everything we’d hoped for and more. The deck and view were our favorite parts of the cabin but the whole house was so nice. We brought our 2 miniature schnauzers and they were safe running around the deck because it’s closed in on both sides. No stairs for them to get out. The interior was decorated so well and the beds were super comfortable. We’d definitely stay there again! The hosts were so nice during communication with quick responses.

We loved staying at the Storyteller Cabin. It's secluded and you are about half way between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. A perfect spot. The cabin was clean and roomy and I loved the decor. We've rented other cabins before, but this was my favorite.

I will say we hit a home run with this cabin, it's been awhile for us to have all the boxes checked. It was clean, the views were amazing, also, private. Living room furniture was comfortable as well as the king bed downstairs. We did have a young male bear visit us one morning, and he was a little aggressive, and not afraid of me yelling and banging. This one is on our list for return visits!!

This was the cleanest place we have rented in a long time! Views were spectacular. Your home is amazing, so cozy with so many beautiful decorations. You really put a lot of thought & time into decorating. Makes you feel at home. Roads were a little steep. Plenty of flat space for our small dog to roam around outside. Communication with host was fabulous. Had trouble with WiFi connecting to laptop. Was able to connect using hotspot on my iPhone. We enjoyed spending time with family watching movies & relaxing. We came up for my nephews wedding which we enjoyed.

We really enjoyed the Storyteller Cabin. We had five adults-six could’ve slept comfortably. States sleeps eight, however, that would only be comfortable if you had smaller children with you! Communication was great! The kitchen had lots of utensils. The only thing I would advise if you plan on cooking -is bringing your own Tupperware I didn’t see much in the way of storage. But lots of good stuff to cook with! And if you want to see a bear, we saw a bear within two hours of arriving at the cabin! It was a great way to start the trip! The views were amazing! I would definitely stay there again!!

We had a great stay--four adults and our pup. The property was as described and very comfortable. The fireplace, fire pit and hot tub added to the enjoyment. I can't think of anything that was missing! (I would note that the mattresses were firmer than we are used to.)

Our host Mabel was wonderful and made the process easy. I had never stayed anywhere with VRBO before and will definitely go back. The cabin was decorated perfectly and had all the essentials needed for cooking, grilling or just simply hanging out. We love the location as it was extremely close to Cade’s cove and was less than 15 minutes from both Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge.

Excellent communication and accommodations. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has what you probably need to cook if you like. The road to the cabin is just fine and the parking area is flat and has plenty of room to move about. The fire area on the deck is the best! We had coffee while bundled up several mornings out there and roasted marshmallows in the evenings.

The house is lovely. We ended up getting some snow and I was worried about driving on the mountain roads leading to the house so I messaged the owners. They were very quick to respond and reassure us. They were keeping abreast of the weather for us and had great advice/suggestions. We didn’t end up using the hot tub but we enjoyed the fire pit and the fireplace. We hope to stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We have enjoyed coming to the Smokies for over 22 years and worked hard to finally purchase Storyteller. We remember the realtor taking us around town to see cabins but the minute we walked into Storyteller, we were hooked. The gazebo is what gave us the idea to call the cabin Storyteller. Our families were used to gathering for hours on end and telling stories about life, funny moments, and stories they wanted us to remember and pass on.
