This 3BR condo on the beach was everything we needed and more. Condo very clean. Decorative and pleasant atmosphere. for everyone. Centrally located and easily accessible to everything. Our unit had a balcony which we enjoyed. Can’t say enough about it. Definitely worth the price.

The condo was fantastic overall! It’s incredibly spacious and comfortably fit our family of six. We also loved how close it was to both the pools and the beach—it’s just a short, easy walk to either. The one thing I would clarify is the ocean view. You really can’t see the ocean from the condo unless you stand all the way in the corner of the balcony, lean over the railing, and look to the left. So while you can technically catch a glimpse of the ocean, I personally wouldn’t describe the condo as oceanfront.Aside from that, we genuinely enjoyed our stay! The condo was comfortable, roomy, and in a great location, and we had a wonderful time.

Beachside Colony Summer Vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of this condo. It was super easy to access the pool area and the beach. We had not used the new grill area at Beachside Colony until this trip. It was so close to the condo and we took full advantage of it, beautifully landscaped and shaded in the late afternoon. The condo had everything we needed for meals at home, but we also enjoyed drinks and lunch at the poolside bar area. We look forward to our next trip!

The property was a nice location, good space and a good value. The mattresses were extremely thin and not comfortable. This was especially true in the room with twin beds. Tybee Island was beautiful and the proximity to the beach was very nice.

This was a fantastic spot for our family. The location was great. I wish there would have been a broom and dustpan to help with the sand throughout the condo but we made do!

Fall Break Relaxation

We stayed during Fall break. It was super convenient to stay right on the beach and near the restaurant, The Deck. The dogs and family were very happy. The kids had their own rooms and the common space was comfy. Tybee Island was a quaint little beach town ro explore. We liked the Marine Science Center and light house.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Pros: The proximity to the pools and beach was great. And the beach was not crowded, plenty of space.Restaurant on site had friendly staff, good drinks and decent food. Nice view. AC in the condo worked well.Plenty of space for a family of 4 (and small dog). Covered parking - this was helpful with the evening showers we had. Nice patio.Con’s: The pools are on the small side, and those stayed pretty busy each time we visited. There were dirty dishes in the condo, a lot of the small flat plates had dried food, plastic wine glasses dirty, some utensils with crusted food. The master bed makes a scary noise like it’s about to fall. The 2nd night, my husband took the mattress off and tightened the main screw in the center which was loose. And the legs on the middle rod were leaned to the side, he straightened these out. Hope we fixed this for the next guest. Our teen slept in the room with the twin beds. Both beds are uncomfortable, she could feel the springs coming through. The condo is on the 1st floor and the parking deck is outside the door. Convenient, but also a lot of foot traffic throughout the night with people talking and walking past the kids’ bedroom windows. They had 1 rough sleepless night. Front door needs a good cleaning, is grimy and paint touch ups needed throughout. The lady in the office and other staff were friendly. We would stay again, but in a different unit. Thank you!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this neighborhood because it’s home. I moved to Tybee Island in 1978 and have been part of Beachside Colony since its construction in 2000. Over the years, I’ve watched this community grow while still maintaining the relaxed, family-friendly feel that makes Tybee special. Guests love this location for its direct beach access, walkability, and central mid-island setting that makes getting anywhere on Tybee easy. In addition to managing condos here, I’m also an owner at Beachside Colony, which means I care for this property the same way I care for my own. The location offers the best of the island—easy beach access, a true resort atmosphere, and a place I’m proud to share with guests.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What truly sets this property apart is that it offers a complete oceanfront resort experience—something that’s exceptionally rare on Tybee Island. Beachside Colony combines a prime mid-island beachfront location with a high-quality, well-maintained environment, multiple oceanfront pools, and the convenience of an on-site restaurant and bar overlooking the Atlantic. Guests appreciate the ease of stepping directly onto the beach with no roads to cross, along with the comfort of resort-style amenities paired with the space and privacy of a condominium. With on-site management, long-established ownership, and decades of consistent care, Beachside Colony has built a reputation that brings guests back year after year for a relaxed, elevated coastal stay.
