What makes this Cottage unique
While tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, The Little House is only a short walk to downtown and it's many delicious restaurants, great music venues, and abundant art galleries. Walk within the neighborhood to find a large, healthy, organic grocery store, a wonderful yoga studio, a playground, a greenway, and an experimental forest with walking trails. The property is also only a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway and The Biltmore Estate. Enjoy tons of great hiking and mountain biking in the surrounding mountains or raft, paddle, or tube down one of the many rivers that runs through the area.

Cozy, Quiet & Comfortable
The little house is in a great neighborhood that’s close to downtown and the mountains. The 5 points area has everything you need and in walking distance to groceries and restaurants.
My family of four enjoyed the convenience of the place. The house was well stocked for cooking meals. Sleeping arrangements had one bedroom with a full size bed and another that had bunk beds with a trundle bed. The top bunk was close to the ceiling and not really useable for teens but smaller kids could use it just fine.
Overall we enjoyed the accommodations and would definitely rent this place again.
A great home away from home!
While visiting Asheville, we wanted to stay somewhere more comfortable than a typical hotel room, but also wanted to be within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, and the Mount Clare house was perfect. The house is very cute and cozy and had everything we needed. It was nice being able to start the day with a relaxing breakfast “at home” before venturing out and then returning “home” to a comfortable couch and beds at night. We ended up contacting Chelsea a couple of times and she was extremely friendly and responsive to all our inquiries and needs. I would definitely try to stay here again if I’m ever back in Asheville.
I’d like to move in
Great location. A home above the garage. Some steps. Home bigger than expected. All amenities we needed including a crib. 3 twins in 2nd bedroom are great for children (and a grandma). Space in that room is tight but doable. Our Hostess provided a lovely welcome gift, allowed our children to use the playground and backyard to catch fireflies. Just blocks to 3 grocery stores. Blocks to downtown. A block to Nature walkway which goes to Botanical Gardens at University. We hope to have the pleasure of staying here again.
Great Location to tour Asheville
Cozy 2 bedroom cottage that was well equipped. Layout was great to have an occasional meal "at home". Super collection of Asheville guide books to help you plan your stay. Nothing in Asheville was far from this home.
Cozy and accommodating. Close to the action without being TOO close to traffic & noise.
We made the little house our home away from home for an extended Mother’s Day weekend away (with the kids). We were comfortable & had everything we needed here.
Great location. Seriously you are close to everything to do tourist stuff and act like a local as well. House was great for the two of us and living room was a pleasant surprise to give it a homey feel.
Would stay here again.
