Blar na Leisg Lodge Retreat offers unique self catering accommodation in Assynt, Sutherland on the North West Coast. This unique Lodge Retreat is on the NC 500 but hidden away in a world of its own on the edge of Drumbeg. Secluded and tranquil, the beautifully designed building stands in its own naturally wooded completely private grounds overlooking the many islands of Eddrachillis Bay. Lodge opens out onto the fresh waters of Loch Ruighean an Aitinn, with views of Quinag, not far away.
The space:
Lodge Retreat 1 is open plan with a mezzanine sleeping area above, which looks down onto the living space and through the fully glazed gable end of the Lodge, out onto the loch.
There is a super king size bed in the mezzanine sleeping area. There is a double sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a power shower in the wet room.
The lodge has Wi Fi and Sky free view TV.
Under floor central heating.
Guest access
The Lodge sits in its own grounds, looking up to the mountain Quinag. There is free access in front of the Loch and beyond, into the empty Highland mountains and coast .
There are rights of way on the pathways in the grounds
Other things to note:
We charge £70 per week for an extra adult booking. No charge is made for those under 16 years of age. We do however add a £10 laundry charge for extra bedding.
We also make a pet charge of £35 per visit. . We ask guests to bring a number of dog towels. Your dog may like to swim. In any case it is wilderness terrain and your dog should be rubbed down before entering the house.
Dog bedding should be brought and animals should not use the soft furnishings.
