Superbly located with spacious bedrooms
The location of this apartment is spectacular. The neighborhood is very safe, loads of great restaurants and good food markets close by. The owner/manager was very kind to let us check in earlier than the stated 4 pm. The very best thing, though, was being able to poke your head out one of the two living room windows to see the Eiffel Tower so close you could almost touch it. The apartment itself is pretty basic, which was fine for us, as we are frequent visitors. The bedrooms are spacious, the living room well furnished and had great light. The kitchen was very small, which is quite normal for Paris, so not a surprise, and since we did no cooking, this wasn’t an issue either. My only complaint was the size of the bathroom and shower. We are average size, but both my friend and I found the shower incredibly cramped.Luckily this was a ladies trip, as I doubt a man would fit. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water, just minuscule. Not having an elevator was no problem, since it was just one floor up. The entry street is gated at both ends, providing an extra layer of security at night. The building was very quiet. Easy transportation options just a few minutes away by foot. This is a very desirable area of Paris, so reasonably priced rentals are hard to find. And with the Tower right out your window, a small shower seems a tiny sacrifice.
