About Julie Reinertson

Eric & Julie Reinertson

We have been living in Gardiner, MT since 2002. My husband, Eric, has been working in Yellowstone National Park for the National Park Service since '95 and I have been working at the Gardiner School since 2003.

We have 2 beautiful daughters,Ellie & Josie, ages 8 and 5. We feel very blessed to be working in God's country and to be raising our children is such a beautiful place.

Julie Reinertson purchased this apartment in 2002

Why Julie Reinertson chose Yellowstone Country

We purchased our home in 2002. This was the perfect location for us given our jobs. We have built on and rennovated the original structure. Last spring we rennovated the one bedroom apartment to use as a vacation rental. We knew this would be a wonderful way for visitors to enjoy a home away from home while exploring Yellowstone.

What makes this apartment unique

We enjoy visiting with our guests during their stay. We want folks to get the most out of their visit to Yellowstone. We are glad to give suggestions and tips on where to go and what to do.

Our guests often take advantage of other activities offered in Gardiner such as guided fishing trips, rafting on the Yellowstone River, horseback riding, soaking at the Boiling River, and local dining.

We provide beach towels for guests to soak at the Boiling River which is a natural hot springs area close by. We also provide a cooler for those folks that like to pack lunch and snacks for having picnics during their day.

Very nice apartment

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was beautiful, they spared no expense the items were good quality. It wasn't stocked with cheap stuff. It was in a very quiet neighborhood and extremely easy access to the park. We took our 8 year old daughter and the futon was perfect for her. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend it. The only downside is the owners live above the apartment and when they were walking around it was very noisy. Would definitely stay again.

First But Not Our Last

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have been coming to Yellowstone and staying in Gardiner for the last 12 years. We have stayed in many places but this VRBO was the BEST! The owners have gone above and beyond to make the this the PERFECT place to stay during anyone's visit to the area. From the comfortable bed to the little things like ice packs for your daily picnic packing.

The location is great for accessing all the restaurants, bars, shopping and Yellowstone Park. The owners even gave us a tip of where to see 9 grizzlies outside the park on a ranch outside of Gardiner.

This was our First stay at this rental but will NOT be our last! Do yourself a favor and plan your accommodations in Gardiner at this VRBO.

terrific rental and location

  • 5 of 5

This rental is terrific. It is obvious the owners take great pride in the property. Located at the north entrance to Yellowstone, it is perfect for day trips into the park. Easily accessible are the Lamar and Hayden Valleys, The falls, Yellowstone Lake, and Old Faithful.

A great place to stay!!

fabulous apartment!!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay! Comfortable, clean, very close to the north entrance to Yellowstone, and located in a cozy town. We loved the proximity to the park entrance...we knew it was close, but didn't expect it to be so convenient. We really enjoyed the town. We had an awesome steak at the Raven grill and everyone was so nice in all the stores we visited. The apartment was more than we expected. There was a great coffee maker, plenty of utensils and cookware, even paper towels and paper plates. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so clean! We never heard our neighbors, it was so quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend staying at this location!

Fun Honeymoon

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in the Hideaway for 4 nights in July. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay in close proximity to the park this is the place for you! In Gardiner there is access to restaurants, shopping, and fun activities like horseback riding and whitewater rafting. Everything is near enough to walk to if you wish. Julie and her family were wonderful hosts. We spent our days out and about and came back to the hideaway to grill at night. Everything is very clean and well cared for. You feel as though you are in a private cabin although it is actually an apartment. I highly recommend this location.
