Charming and cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin. The owner has fantastic taste when it comes to decorating, every detail was perfect. The screened in front porch was by far our favorite spot and we spent hours on the daybed swing on the screened porch. The cabin is small, but you will enjoy every minute you are there.

Great vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is just lovely and very well equipped. We spent a week visiting family that live nearby. There is also a lovely screened porch that we just loved for reading, napping and playing cards. The bedroom and bathroom are a nice size and the mates was very comfortable. We hope to return for another week in a year or two.

Precious small cabin; perfect for me and my 2 kids!

  • 5 of 5

The only complaint would b that the windows need proper covering for privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! I chose to exclude window treatments from the front living area of the cabin. I wanted to be able to see the full view of the green belt from the front room. The street in front of the cabin is private and did not see the need to cover the front windows. I also feel the screened porch provides enough privacy gor the cabin. The bedroom and bathroom have window treatments for privacy. The cabin is situated on the lot so that the neighbors can not see in through the windows. I have never felt that my privacy is compromised when I stay at the cabin. I am sorry that you felt differently and will keep in mind your comments. Thank you again! Susan

About The Owner

I am an Interior Designer. I love to travel! I collect art and antiques. My hobbies are quilting, scrapbooking, watercolors and rug hooking.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 2009

Why The Owner chose Clarkesville

The location is GREAT! there are many nearby attractions and activities. We love the peacefulness and the serenity of our cabin.

What makes this cottage unique

My greatest benefit while staying at the cabin is quiet DOWN TIME. I love shopping in the nearby small towns. I love relaxing on the screened porch.
