Family is at the heart of everything we do, and we dreamed of creating a special place where we could gather and have fun together. When we first drove around Highland Lake, we were captivated by its beauty and knew it was the perfect spot for our retreat.

When we found this property, we immediately fell in love. It began as a charming grandparents' cottage, and we initially planned just a few minor updates. However, our vision quickly grew, and it evolved into a complete remodel.

From the outside, the cottage may look unassuming, but step inside and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the transformation. We've created a warm and inviting space that combines modern comforts with the cozy charm of a lakeside retreat. We can't wait for you to experience the magic of our little oasis on Highland Lake.

Our little cottage offers a delightful blend of homey comforts and vacation charm, making it the perfect retreat for us. From the moment we first stayed here we knew it was something special.

Morning:
Start your day peacefully on the deck, sipping coffee as the mist drifts across the water just before the sun rises to chase it away. It's a serene and magical way to begin the day.

Afternoon:
Spend your afternoons exploring the local attractions. Our cottage is conveniently located just a short distance from a variety of restaurants, diners, grocery stores, a cinema, and charming antique shops. If needed, there’s a laundromat close by for your convenience. For those who love the outdoors, enjoy nearby parks, scenic trails, and bike paths. Don't forget to visit the local brewery, Little Red Barn, to savor some fantastic local brews.

Lake Activities:
Make the most of our lakeside location with an array of water activities. For an adrenaline rush, try waterskiing--boat rentals are available at the Marina on Highland Lake.
If you prefer a slower pace, take advantage of the kayaks on the premises or enjoy a leisurely float on the water while sipping your favorite beverage. The lake is perfect for fishing, or simply soaking in the serene views from the dock. You are also welcome to bring your own boat to fully explore and enjoy the lake.

Evening:
As the day winds down, return to the cottage for a relaxing evening. Prepare a delicious meal in our gourmet kitchen or fire up the gas or charcoal grill outside. Enjoy dinner on the spacious walk-out deck while watching the sun set over the water. Later, snuggle up in the cozy living room for a movie or stargaze from the deck, letting the tranquil sounds of the lake lull you into relaxation.
