*** Summer 2025 - Lake Lure Update ***

Per the website www.townoflakelure.com: Lake Use in 2025- Town Council and Town leadership are keenly aware of the importance of reopening the Lake as soon as it is safe to do so. Given the timing of the work that has been completed thus far and the need for ongoing work moving forward, it is extremely unlikely that the Lake will be able to open for the 2025 summer season. (This includes motorized and non-motorized vessels and swimming.) For those of you who have been following our storm recovery process closely, this news may not be a surprise to you. I thought it was important to share this news with you directly. Please note that Town Council and Town leadership will continue to evaluate options for opening the Lake or portions of the Lake and we will continue to keep you informed with any updates as new information becomes available.

This home is 5.9 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 7.2 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 14.9 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC).

The Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area is conveniently situated for outdoor adventure, including horseback riding, tubing, water sports, and hiking; museums and theater; the Biltmore Estate and Village; shopping and restaurants; and so much more.

The home is only 10 minutes from Lake Lure Beach and Chimney Rock. Many Lake Lure water sports rental options and pontoon boat tours exist. Chimney Rock State Park and Village are definitely worth visiting. The park was rated a Blue Ridge Mountain favorite, and there are unique shops and plenty of restaurants. ​This classic home will accommodate 2 as comfortably as 12; It has 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths.
The fully equipped kitchen has the conveniences of a home: dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dinnerware, cookware, and utensils. All you need are groceries, and there is an Ingles Market, a five (5) minute drive from the home! Dine in or enjoy your meal on the deck overlooking the river.

Whether it is plentiful choices of restaurants or shopping or a fun outdoor adventure, you and your loved ones will never forget! AREA WIDE NOTICE: Lake Lure will undergo a drawdown from January 1st, 2025, through the first quarter of 2025(March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. This will not affect the smaller lakes in the area, only Lake Lure itself.

Smoking is prohibited in all of our vacation rental homes.
​Dogs (up to 2) are welcome in this home. Guests are required to clean up after their pets to avoid additional charges.
Parking for multiple vehicles at the home, but only two (2) vehicles are allowed inside the gated portion of Riverbend at Lake Lure.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time or anytime later.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. local time or anytime earlier.

NOTICE: CANOE is temporarily stored at the cabin instead of being next to the lake. The community has required us to move them to the homes until they have built a new location for storage down by the lake.
