Vibrant Oasis in a Walkable Wonderland - Charles Village 3BR/1BA
A historic delight - "Painted Lady" Rowhome (infamous in Baltimore) in the charming/ colorful /quirky Abell neighborhood of Charles Village. Full kitchen with ample hosting room, brand new fridge & dishwasher. Bathroom with a clawfoot soaking tub, hardwood floors throughout, fully fenced rear yard with beautiful florals & immediate park access (with playground and a fall movie series on Saturday evenings), porch with awning, front porch with chess table & wonderful neighborhood views. The Walkable Wonderland:
Abell Open Space (public neighborhood hang out playground, grass area, and picnic space).
2 blocks from Peabody Heights Brewery (with amazing events & fairs every day)
1 block from Waverly Farmers Market (every Saturday, all-year), 2 blocks from Charles Village retail strip (restaurants, shops, local grocer)
2 blocks from the library
3 blocks from Medstar Hospital
4 blocks from Johns Hopkins campus
4 blocks from Giant
4 blocks from the hardward store
a 10 minute walk to the YMCA
...and a WONDERFUL 25 minute walk to the famous Hampden 34th street during December!
Lots of options for walking - Sherwood Gardens, Stoney Creek Run, Wyman Park, Baltimore Art Museum Sculpture Garden, and Johns Hopkins University.
A brake from the common barren rentals, this is a home filled with bright color, interesting art, plants, and personality. Amenities you will find here that you won't find elsewhere:
A cabinet filled with games & puzzles
Shelves of books
Records of all kinds of genres (ask for how to use it if you haven't before - happy to help)
A front porch bust of George Washington, that is also a lamp (a stylish one, we'd say)
A fully stocked kitchen, with spices & tools (kitchenaid!)
AMPLE PARKING
Charles Village Community Benefits District located (meaning very clean streets, extra safe, and additional events)
Incredible neighbors who respect privacy but are there if you need a thing!
Available for Q4 2023.
NOTE:
This is currently our home. Additional removal of items such as jackets, masks, jewelry, and various personal effects will occur prior to move in date to make your experience more enjoyable and free up space for you to make it your own home.
Only open to hosting individuals for 2 weeks or more. Preferred 1 month minimums or longer.
