Profitez de l'une des plus belles propriĂ©tĂ©s au bord du lac sur l'un des lacs les plus propres et les plus vierges du Vermont. Profitez des levers et couchers de soleil en vous relaxant dans votre maison de vacances situĂ©e sur une pĂ©ninsule entourĂ©e d'eau sur 3 cĂŽtĂ©s. Nagez du quai de la grande plate-forme, pĂȘchez l'achigan ou la truite Ă  partir du quai ou du canoĂ« fourni. Deux kayaks sont Ă©galement disponibles.

À l'origine une charmante cabane construite dans les annĂ©es 1930, elle a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ©e et agrandie, offrant un confort moderne tout en prĂ©servant cette ambiance rustique. Cuisine gastronomique, coin repas, foyer en pierre des champs, charmant porche grillagĂ©, barbecue, buanderie, Internet sans fil.

Excellente location d'hiver et d'été - à moins de 30 minutes des domaines skiables de Stowe, Jay Peak, Smugglers Notch et Craftsbury XC. Jay Peak Waterpark et Patinoire sont également des attractions proches.

The tranquility of the home is perfect. Simple, clean, and spacious. Not to far of a ride to Jay peak for skiing. Would stay again.

Already booked for next year!We’ve been coming to the Stowe area to vacation for roughly 20 years, and we think this homey cottage/cabin directly on Lake Eden is certainly the most picturesque we’ve rented. And if you are there during Thanksgiving week, as we were, extremely quiet – we were pretty much the only ones out there – other than a flock of wild turkeys.Despite the feeling of remoteness, you are only 15-20 minutes away from Morrisville and the grocery shopping/dining opportunities there, so it makes a good base of operations for heading out to visit much of what Vermont has to offer.When weather was not favorable, just sitting inside with a snapping fire going in the fireplace and watching the lake change colors and mood was extremely relaxing.Beds were very comfy, showers had great water pressure, and country kitchen is spacious and very well-stocked for cooking most meals. We brought our own knives and non-stick pans as we would for any rental, but the ones supplied were in pretty good nick. The washer/dryer just off the mudroom entry are quick and efficient.If we had any suggestion for improvement, it’s that the living room furniture could use a refresh – the cushions on the wicker chair and futon are quite flat, so trying to curl up with a book in front of the fire was not that comfortable.FYI, the shared, single-lane, private driveway/road to the house is tricky only in that there are some very deep potholes, so you def want to keep the speed down.

The host, house and location were great. All activities in the area were about twenty to thirty miles which is not bad, when you consider we were vacationing there for sightseeing. Only suggestion I would have would that the furniture needs updated for more comfort and maybe a television.All in all great place and great time. Thanks James for sharing with us.

The Home had everything you could possibly need to feel home away from home. The only thing we couldn’t find was a potato peeler. Everything else was fantastic! Stowe is about 30 minutes away. Burlington is 45 minutes away. It’s a great base camp to explore local attractions if the weather isn’t great. Can’t wait to return!

This place is in the perfect setting if you want to get away from the crowds and relax. Nothing better than tight lines in a peacefull surrounding! We absolutely loved our time we spent here!

Idyllic lake location, we were in and out of the water all day. Special treat listening to the loons early morning. Good grocery options in Morrisville. Also easy 30-40 minute drive to Stowe and Waterbury where we enjoyed the downtown shops and eateries.

Three generations of family and our dog had a lovely weekend on the lake. We really enjoyed that the house had modern amenities like wifi, grill, and a stove for cooking our meals. The yard was very private and the water access was ideal. We're already considering booking again in the future!

Bliss in the Garden of Eden

This was our third year at this property. We are always sublimely satisfied. The best is the feeling of privacy being on surrounded by water on 3 sides. We like the simplicity of the decor and the lack of a TV. We also like that certain basic food stuffs are left (like salt and pepper) in case we forgot them. It's perfect.

Another Great Stay

We love this lake house so much, it's our fourth time back! One thing to note is that the room with the king mattress has an extremely soft/plush mattress that's even softer than we remembered. If you need a firmer mattress definitely sleep in the Queen room.

Great spot!

This was our 4th year having a family reunion here with grown children and grandchildren. Plus one lab. We all enjoyed the water (especially the dog!) as well as the large yard. The screened porch and the house itself are comfortable and roomy places to gather to talk and eat together. We're already looking forward to next year's reunion!

Perfect lake getaway

This was my family's third year at the lake house, and we had a wonderful time as always. The lakefront is absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The house is very comfortable and has everything we need. Already looking forward to next year!

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin was very clean. The grounds were kept wonderfully. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances. Jim, the host, checked in halfway through our stay to see how things were going and they were going great. Overall, we had a wonderfully relaxing time. We got to reconnect with family and we'll definitely stay here again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay!! We had kids ages 6mo-12yr and they loved it! They spent the whole day swimming in the lake and enjoyed canoeing. The weather was over 80 but we were very comfortable with the breeze through the windows. The views are stunning! The beds we also very comfortable and we utilized the kitchen and grill with no issues.

Jim and Oonagh live in Williston, Vermont, one hour from the Eden lake house. We have one son that is currently college-age (as of 2021).

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This is our only vacation home. When purchased, it was a summer cottage built in the 1930s. We built an addition and winterized it for year-round use in 2003. Our goal was to maintain the rustic "camp" feel of the original cottage. We use it in the winter to ski at Jay Peak and in the summer for the lake. Lake Eden is very clean - great for swimming. None of the milfoil, weed or algae problems seen in other Vermont lakes. It's a wonderful relaxing escape.

Great waterfront, clean lake, large platform dock, a real "On Golden Pond" kind of experience. A rustic Vermont "camp" feel with all the modern conveniences.

Great downhill and cross country skiing close by in winter. Jay Peak waterpark and skating rink are new attractions at Jay.
