Hidden Gem on Saquatucket Harbor - Direct Waterfront

Bedrooms 3
Space 2,800 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

About the property

4 Bedroom, 3 Bath with Beautiful Views

Gracious summer living is the best description of your vacation experience in this classic cape cod home.

A third generation family summer home that is located in a secluded, upscale neighborhood with its own private association beach. Directly on Saquatucket Harbor.

The back lawn stretches across the length of the house and has 180-degree unobstructed view of the Harbor. Here you can sit on the large patio every morning and watch the boats leave for a day at sea. Or at the end of the day watch the stunning sunset. How about lighting up the outdoor gas grill and just relax while watching your children safely play on the lawn. A perfect ending to the day.

True Cape Cod feel...this single-level cape home is rambling, roomy and traditionally tasteful decorated. Every room has amazing views of the harbor except one of the guest bedroom. The living room is extremely large with plenty of cozy seating, a large flat screen TV and fireplace. The kitchen is spacious with updated appliances. There is a large farm table that sits in front of the double sliding door leading out to the patio. Enjoy dinner here while once again taking advantage of the beautiful views.

There are four bedrooms and three full baths with an outdoor shower. All of the bedrooms are very spacious. On the far end of the house there is a large suite-type bedroom with two beds, couch and TV area. The perfect spot for privacy.

At the other end of the house there are two large bedrooms both with attached full baths. Also located on this end is a lovely den that can double for another bedroom. It has a ocean view with a trundle bed and a flat screen television.

The location is very desirable 1/2 mile walk to the best ice cream parlor in town and a 1/2 mile walk to Saquatucket Harbor. (boats to Nantucket leave daily from here)

The nicest part of this home is that it still has the charm of an original Cape Cod home. So if you are in search of a vacation with the true Cape Cod feel then this is the house for you.

Added amenities: fully air conditioned, wifi and cable.

Wonderful Home and Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family rented this home away from home for two weeks this past summer as we prepared for our daughter's Cape Cod wedding. Nancy and Tony greeted us as we arrived and showed us around. There is a lovely patio with an awning overlooking beautiful grounds and the harbor which we all enjoyed greatly. The layout of the house is great; there is a lot of space, a great kitchen and plenty of room to relax and unwind. The beach is a walk from the house. We loved our time there! We hope to definitely go back! Thank you so very much!

Fabulous location and views

  • 5 of 5

We have rented on the Cape for years and this property is now our favorite. It is located in special spot on the Cape, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Harwich Port on a large lot, with direct views of Saquatucket Harbor. We spent most of the week sitting on the patio relaxing and watching the boats. The community beach is quite pleasant with private access for the community and few people. The house comfortable, including a comfortable king bed in the master, has all necessary amenities, and harbor views from most rooms. Nancy is a gracious owner and very responsive to questions and needs. We plan to return next year.

Saquatucket Harbor Rental

  • 4 of 5

We rented the property for a week stay at the Cape this summer. The property is in a great location - easy access to beach, great views of the harbor, short drive to many restaurants, and walking distance to a great ice cream shop. The house was perfect for our needs - very comfortable with lots of space to rest and relax. The large front yard was a real plus for our children and our dog - plenty of space for badminton, wiffle ball, and just running around. We would definitely consider staying again for future Cape visits.

6 of us...friends from high school, celebrated a milestone birthday here . We could not have asked for a more comfortable and liveable home. Nice view of the harbor, a great and safe neighborhood to walk and a convenient location for day trips anywhere on the Cape. Nancy was the perfect hostess and even provided birthday wine and goodies. It was like staying in a friends home. We would love to come back again.

It was nice that you were able to take day trips to the lower cape and also have a comfortable place for recalling happy memories.

My family stayed here in late Sept. Beautiful, quiet, relaxing is all we can say. Just what we were looking for to get some down time. Location is perfect for day trips, great food & walks in a safe, quiet place. Yard is gorgeous. Patio looking out onto Harwich Harbor was our favorite spot at all times of the day. The house itself welcomes you as your own home would. Peacefulness in the off season is just what you will get. We would go back yearly to this very house, if we could.
