With indoor and outdoor fireplaces and ceiling fans throughout the house, everyone will be nice and comfy no matter what the time of year.

Your cooking options are just as varied, with the kitchen indoors providing you with ample counterspace and a dishwasher for easy cleanup. For more relaxing outdoor activities, the Molalla River Lodge boasts an eight-seat hot tub on the deck, a wet bar for entertaining, a deep fryer, a large gas grill, and a hot smoker.

Up to 10 guests (and, courtesy of the dog run and fenced pen, the family dog for a small nightly fee) can stay in the Molalla River Lodge. The master suite offers a king-size bed and a HDTV with cable. Two additional rooms with comfy queen beds perfect for a good night's sleep. Kids can enjoy a sleep-over atmosphere in the spacious living room, with two air mattresses and the sofa providing ample room for everyone! Two bathrooms are available, as well as a washer/dryer.

About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Fantastic location with family fun for everyone

 • 5 of 5

We had a great long weekend in this house, it has full size pinball and video games for young and old kids alike, games, books, toys. and you can't beat this right on the river, we brought some inflatables and used the ones in the house to float this beautiful section of the river with trout, snails, crawdads right under neath our floats, it was beautiful, warm and so convenient. Smores in the outdoor kitchen area and relaxing dip in the hot tub.

Everything we expected and then some

 • 5 of 5

We were very pleased with the home and location. We wanted some privacy and relaxation and this home provided both. On a beautiful setting with a large front lawn, fun for yard games and a beautiful river view and access. The inside of the home is a bit cabin like, it's not a four seasons and we knew that going in so no complaints. Home was stocked well with just about everything we needed that we didn't already bring. The arcade games are pretty awesome and kept us entertained, as well as the stocked amount of entertainment options the property has...but the money spent is for the back deck. It's huge and has everything you'd want right there...hot tub, outdoor bar and cook top, bbq, fire pit, lounge chairs, and a fantastic access to the river. The river itself right out front is pretty shallow, but there's a little swim hole just to the left a stones throw.

Owner/Mngr suggestions to make it an even better experience:

1. The spare bedroom connected to the bathroom really needs a standard door. The open slat door allows the stink of someone's bathroom business to woft right into the room and was an issue for us.

2. I know it's expensive, but fencing in the property would be amazing. The neighbors dogs spent a good deal of time over on the property. A large poodle named Teddy apparently lives next door and although friendly and fun, would't leave when we were sick of his company. Quite the party crasher Teddy was. Another large black dog showed up with Teddy and crapped in the front lawn several times, which killed our desire to continue the lawn games out there.

3. Put up an actual bball hoop somewhere. You've got the bballs provided and that poor crooked hoop nailed to the tree. We still played, just for the heck of it, but man that hoop is rough. Haha

These aren't really complaints, just suggestions...we loved the property and will likely be back again. Awesome place overall!

Beautiful setting on the river

 • 5 of 5

We loved this place. At one point we had 8 people and 2 dogs at the house to watch the eclipse. There was plenty of room for everyone. And what a fun house! The outdoor spaces are great. The deck overlooking the river is huge, with a picnic table, another table with 4 chairs, a couple of pub tables with stools overlooking the river, a covered swing and 3 zero-gravity chairs. We spent a LOT of time out there. The hot tub is huge and the temperature is adjustable. The working outdoor kitchen was delightful--we made a shrimp boil out there. The front yard is huge--big enough for games (and eclipse viewing!) The great room with the pinball games and the TV was large enough for a crowd and the furniture was very comfortable. The beds in the three bedrooms were better than we have at home. And it's so quiet--everyone slept soundly. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. It also has THE quietest dishwasher I have ever encountered. And there were plenty of cleaning and paper supplies. The house is not brand-new, and it looks and feels lived-in. If you are looking for pristine, luxury accommodations, this might not be the place for you. But, if you're looking for a comfortable, clean, pleasant house in a quiet, beautiful setting, with lots of fun toys, you cannot beat this place. I'm already planning a return trip!

Relaxing with beautiful view

 • 5 of 5

I fell in love with the home as soon as we got there. The view off the deck is amazing! I enjoyed my coffee off the deck every morning. My teenage son and nephew loved the creek and the arcade games. The hot tub with that view was perfect. We were all truly sad when it was time to leave.

Nice and secluded area. Very peaceful listening to the river 24/7. House had all the amenities you would expect. Hot tub was wonderful to relax in. Would stay there again when in the area.
