The neighborhood was quiet with very nice neighbors. There are a few stores within walking distance and within 10-30 you can get almost anywhere you need to. Central location to several venues, which was a huge plus. Fast communication with host was greatly appreciated! Host accommodated us in many ways.

The host was very responsive to questions and requests.We stayed 3 nights and we were 7 adults.The house was clean, although some fixtures are old and could be renewed.This is a small house, so it was not ideal for 7 adults to roam around and hangout.It was a good place for us to rest and sleep.

The house is exactly what we needed, we enjoyed a nice family weekend with our adult children. The rooms were clean, the parking was perfect, the kitchen had everything needed. The host always nice and welcoming in all our interactions. Definitely would stay there again.

Con: no shades or drapes on bedroom windows, neighbor had a security camera and looked like it could see in the bedroom, address is not 822, washer did not work most of the stay, smoke detector went off two nights in a row (no reason), bathroom does not have a shower curtain and water gets all over floor - a little weird.

Family Vacation

This was a nice and comfortable house for our family. We enjoyed the kitchen and the area was close to everything we wanted to see. Aside from minor details like missing oven mitts and shower rug in the master bathroom everything else was great. I would recommend this home for a nice stay.

Wonderful and welcoming stay

Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay. A couple of observations for the future, a wine opener would be handy. Locks on the bathroom doors would be a welcome add. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect for our family of 7 and one dog

Property had all the amenities we were looking for. Very dog friendly and close to our weekend festivity's. Beds were super comfortable and bedding was nice. Thank you for hosting our family. We will be back again!

We were in the process of finding a new home and hence were jumping from one temporary home to another for over a month. This is the best place we have stayed in. It is as good or even better than the pictures.Spacious and clean. Even though the road that it's on is very narrow, there's decent parking space for 2 cars. Enough space for the kids to play in the front and back yard. Cute space for grown up to work from home and very comfortable beds for good night's sleep.

Great clean place to stay with family

Our three-night stay with three kids and their grandparents was filled with joy and memorable moments. The house was immaculate, and everything was effortlessly accessible. The kindness of the landlord, who surprised us with a Christmas treat, truly warmed our hearts. I will undoubtedly return when I visit San Jose again.

We enjoyed staying here however there was no hot tub. Zero. Three of us walked around the entire property looking with achy back after a long day at work. Stay there for four days and couldn’t find the hot tub in four days. Ask the host three times via Vrbo on location of hot tub and all she did was reply yes, there was one. If you don’t have a hot tub – don’t advertise one. We would’ve probably still booked anyway, but it was definitely one of the reasons we chose this location.

We stayed here for a few days while having some work done at our own house. We live 2 blocks away, so we’re very familiar with the neighborhood. It’s a tree-lined street, conveniently located near all major freeways, close to Downtown SJ & Santa Row, and walking distance to a couple restaurants. The house itself had everything we needed. We only slept in the primary bedroom at the back of the house. The mattress was comfortable, but the attached bathroom window & bathroom door windows let light into the bedroom in the early mornings (so I recommend sleeping in the bedroom at the front of the house if you want to sleep in late). No fault of the house, but he neighbors were loud outside at 3am on Sunday night and woke us up (which might be ok if you’re on vacation, but not great if you have to go to work on Monday). There is a tenant who lives in the ADU in the back, so we had to jockey for parking because we had 2 cars & he had 2 cars. The garbage can outside was full when we got there, so we couldn’t fit our trash bag in the can at the end of our stay. But overall, it was good.

Cute home but had some issues

The house was not cleaned from previous tenants when we arrived after check in. Owners came to the house and cleaned it but we had to wait another 2 hours. The listing says there is a king size bed, it is not. It's a queen. The "property manager" that lives in the back is not the property manager. He is a permanent tenant and walks across the porch while guests are in the main house. The listing also states that the kitchen is fully stocked but since this is a 3 bedroom home, if you fill all of the beds, there is not enough plates/cups for everyone. There were settings for about 4 people. Overall, the house was cute and the renovations were nice but we didnt have the greatest experience. The owners were prompt on responding and fixing the issues with the cleaning and the back tenant.

For what we needed and the location we wanted, this unit worked out very well for us. The unit was clean, the AC worked well, and it had a washer/dryer (although we didn't end up using them). There were a few minor/cosmetic issues, but nothing that can't be fixed with a little TLC by the host. Biggest problem was with the listing, which stated one of the beds was a King (and I was filtering by that), none of them were. That should be updated. And while that was disappointing, it didn't ruin the trip.
