The Ritz - Vail Ski Trip

the property was beautiful and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The bar/lounge area was super fun and beautiful and the food was delicious. My only complaint is that it is not true ski in/ ski out as the listing says. It is quite a far walk to the gondola (10 minutes) and there are no trails right to the hotel. I had assumed if you were a novice skier you could walk to the gondola but that there was a trail that would come right to the hotel but that was not the case. You have to take a shuttle or walk to the gondola to ski. Very doable just not what we typically prefer and look for in a property.
