Perfect!

Wonderful apartment close to all that you would need on a holiday in the sun. No complaints at all. Would highly recommend staying here and i would definitely stay again if i get the chance.

Perfect for Us!

We were very pleased with our stay at Ava's place. Ava arranged transportation for us from the airport, which was very convenient, and met us at the unit to greet us and show us around. We used the same driver to get us back to the airport when it was time to head home. The unit had everything we needed for our time there, including a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We were especially pleased that Ava provided beach towels and chairs for our time by the pool and on the beach. And yes, we enjoyed the pool very much, every day in fact. It was nice and warm but not too warm, so it was great to refresh at the end of a long, hot day exploring. The location is fantastic. Lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk, a convenience store with basic groceries and supplies just around the corner, and full-size grocery stores within 30 minutes walk. We also really liked being able to walk to what became our two favourite beaches, Rockley Beach and Pebbles Beach. Thank you, Ava, for sharing your wonderful place with us!

Perfect

The communication with the owner was great, we arrived and Ava met us and showed us around. The apartment had everything we needed, very clean, spacious, air con, large fridge freezer, lovely outside area, gardens and pool. The location was perfect also, close to all amenities, the boardwalk and Rockley beach. I would love to return some time in the future. Thank you Ava

Amazing condo, in a perfect location.

Ava's condo truly exceeded our expectations. The unit is very well equipped with a nice eat-in kitchen and private laundry facilites. Perfect for a short or long term stay. The building is conveniently located close to nice shops, restaurants and bars. Ava was a fantastic host, we plan to return in the near future.

Blitzsaubere Unterkunft in super Lage

Unser Aufenthalt bei Ava bei perfekt. Der Check-in war nett und unkompliziert, die Wohnung sauber und die Lage traumhaft. Den Pool im Garten haben wir täglich genutzt und auf den Picknick-Bänken im Garten haben wir jeden Morgen gefrühstückt. Den Affen auf dem Foto gibt es wirklich, uns hat er zweimal besucht. Der Urlaub ist wie im Flug vergangen und wir können das Apartment nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Good location, well equipped and clean

The property is in a great location across the road from the the Richard Haynes boardwalk and beach. There are a variety of local restaurants to suit all requirements, as well as a mini supermarket next door and several take always. I would recommend the apartment and location to anyone wanting to visit Barbados

Lovely apartment, with pool and beautiful landscape gardens.

We loved staying at Ava’s apartment where we spent 8 weeks! The location on this apartment is excellent: Close to restaurants, eat in and take out; just across the road from the beach; convenience stores, grocery stores and farmers market close by. We even needed to find a doctor for a prescription and that too was within walking distance. The apartment was very nicely renovated and well laid out. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and lots of storage. Kitchen with all the appliances and dishes, etc etc. And a lovely private, patio overlooking the garden where we ate our breakfast every morning. And where we ate our lunches too on those days we ate at home. Above all we must tell you that you will love dealing with Ava! She is truly a wonderful person. Thank you Ava for letting us stay at your love place! Tips for long term renters: ZR (mini bus taxis) costs $2bbd or $1US/person Grocery stores: offer a free shuttle in you spend $50 + Lantern Mall: has several places for you to get take out food or eat right in their outdoor foodcourt. Chutney’s is our favourite. (Roti/curry) Ackee Tree: less than 5 minutes walk from Ava’s place was another favourite. For more upscale dining we recommend Tapas - about 2 minutes walk and 15 minutes walk or short ZR ride is Champers for a more expensive but excellent food! Barbados is a safe wonderful place to visit and the Bajans are a friendly, welcoming people.

Lovely Property in a great location

Spotlessly clean, light, bright and airy. Kitchen has everything one could want, very well supplied. Excellent appliances. Very comfortable beds and the rain forest showers are terrific. Tastefully decorated, lots of towels and linens supplied. Loved the patio and the table and chairs! Mere steps to the beach and a selection of very good restaurants. Pool and gardens are very well maintained. Ava is super nice! We totally enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location! Perfect host! Perfect description!

We totally enjoyed our stay at this location. Everything is within walking distance including shopping, beaches, boardwalk, pool, entertainment, restaurants etc. Ava was there to meet us and to see us off. She is most helpful and on the couple of occasions that we needed to contact her she was very quick to reply or come over. We would return to this location and apartment as it was everything we had expected based on the description. Thanks, Dave & Monique

Great location and comfortable stay

The location of Ava’s unit was great - walking distance to lots of restaurants and the beach. We were also able to just walk out the back patio to the pool which was wonderful for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay!

Family friendly apartment

When we arrived at the property the owner Ava met us at the apartment. Unfortunately, the air conditioning and the internet/tv weren't working and after a long day of travels and a couple of cranky teenagers, these two things were a problem. Ava spent a lot of time resolving the issues and the air-conditioning was fixed that evening. We had internet the next day. Ava lives close to the property and checked in frequently to see if we needed anything. We had everything we needed in the apartment including a washer and dryer. We also had access to the community pool but we were the only ones using it. We liked the location and a mini-supermarket was within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and accommodated myself and three teenagers. We would stay at this location again and would recommend it. We loved having a back porch and a back yard

Exactly as advertised/expected

The property was identical to the pictures, was in a great location with parking, beach access, and walking access to stores and restaraunts We spent 10 days there and loved every minute on the island. Ava was a great owner and totally great to deal with. For the price and the location you aren't going to find a better value on the island We will be back!!

Lovely apartment in a great location

The photos of the apartment accurately show the standard of decoration and furnishings. A very comfortable apartment with air conditioning in the bedrooms which was essential in the heat of July. The wifi speed was very good and a must as we had a teenager with us! The gardens are beautiful and Ava obviously takes great pride in keeping them looking neat and tidy just like the apartment. Location wise, just off the main coast road in Hastings it was ideal for getting about easily as we could just walk across to the boardwalk for the beach or local restaurants, just down the road for a mini mart or easily grab a "boogie bus" to get to St Lawrence Gap. Excellent value and great quality accommodation.

The perfect choice!

My husband and I were in Barbados for almost 2 weeks for treatments at the Barbados Fertility Centre. Because of the length of our stay, we decided to go with a vacation rental as oppose to a hotel for the first time. We could not be happier! Ava's unit was perfect for us. It looks exactly as it does in the pictures - is clean, modern and beautifully decorated. We instantly felt at home, relaxed and comfortable (which is crucial when you are in the middle of fertility treatments!). It was literally a 2 minute walk to the clinic which made things even easier. The location was great not only for this reason, but also because it was so central and easy to walk to great beaches and restaurants. We didn't even need to rent a car because jumping on a bus or catching a van was so easy as it was steps away from the main road in Hastings. Ava, the unit owner, was so lovely both before while organizing our trip and while we were there. It is obvious that she takes pride in her apartment and wants to give guests the best experience possible. All in all we were so happy with our choice and would not stay anywhere else when we return to Barbados. Do not hesitate to choose Ava's Maple Gardens apartment!

The apartment was beautiful - renovated, clean (most important for me!), well equipped and so convenient for the beach and restaurants. The property itself was also very inviting as it was safe, well-protected and with lots of greenery. The pool, while small, was never crowded, so it seemed more like a private pool than one for all the residents. Ava was very accommodating and easy-going.
