Heaven’s Oasis- Riverfront cabin with hot tub!

Welcome to Heaven’s Oasis, your riverfront home away from home with private pool. This completely renovated 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cabin will be the reason you come away from your vacation perfectly relaxed and recharged. A fully stocked kitchen lets you create all sorts of culinary delicacies. Sit on the deck and drink coffee while listening to the birds sing a morning song in the trees. Want to bring the kids? No problem- a comfy sleeper sofa in the living room gives them a place to sleep.



** Private pool is only available between Memorial Day and Labor Day! ** Pool is closed for the season



For larger groups, we have a neighboring property named "Heaven Can Wait" available. Please see our separate listing.



Please take your trash with you. There is dumpster access at the Shenandoah River Outfitters (less than a mile from the property). The house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag, if you would prefer.



Please note: The optional firewood charge of $10/night is for firewood. If you don't think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own, please let us know! We are more than happy to refund that to you.



While this cabin does not accept furry friends, there is a great pet resort in the area - please feel free to ask us for details and contact information!



Please note for November - March bookings: During these winter months, a four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is recommended in case of implement weather.

Great little getaway

The house was perfect for what we needed. It is right on the river, lots of nature and animals. The only thing I would say that wasn't that great, the long gravel road you have to drive on to get to the house. It wasn't in the best condition. It was a cute house though.

Excellent cabin on the river

Excellent cabin right on the Shenandoah river. Private and secluded. Well equipped and clean. Enjoyed the hot tub after hiking in SNP. Saw a group of wild turkeys right from our bedroom window. We travel to the SNP area frequently and would definitely consider staying here again.

Tranquility galore.

Such a tranquil property! We were able to enjoy the firepit and have smores and hot dogs on a stick! Also except for one jet not working..the hot tub was great! House is a little small (cozy) but very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet seclusion for needed couple time!

We loved the place. Just us, the deer, bunnies and giant pool. Wife's first words entering the rental, were 'how cute'. It is small but comfy, nice decor and a great host. Takes a bit to get there, IMHO you will need AWD at a minimum and something pretty capable in rough weather. However, your reward is an ideal getaway with river, pool and hottub. Would we stay again, absolutely. Would we suggest it to our friends, absolutely. If work and stress is wearing you down, take a trip down to the river and Heaven's Oasis. We did and want to go back already.

Very Relaxing!

Heaven's Oasis was a dream! The private pool is what made the stay. We felt like we didn't have to do anything else as we had everything right on the property: pool, hot tub, fire pit, games, and direct river access. The house was also very clean and updated!

We had a great time by the river. The property is old but very well maintained. You can walk to the river and spend your day out tubing or kayaking. You can also cool down at the pool.

Cozy with the best views

This charming cabin has been beautifully renovated, and despite its smaller appearance, it offers exceptional comfort, complete with a cozy sofa bed. Nestled close to the river, it provides the perfect setting for tranquil mornings spent watching the sunrise and evenings enjoying stunning sunsets by the fire pit or while relaxing in the hot tub. The peaceful and serene atmosphere was truly delightful. I am already looking forward to returning, and this cabin has earned its place as a favorite in my bookmarks.

Week Stay

We had a fantastic time and found the rental totally amazing. We pulled into the driveway coming in the first day and had 3 turkeys run in front of us. We then were entertained each day by a group of 6-12 deer as they munched down on the grass. The hot tub was divine and the pool was so relaxing. Be forewarned though that the location is so remote that it is a dead spot for data coverage, so download any maps from their Wi-Fi before you leave. Overall, I would highly recommend this for a totally down vacation.

Just what we needed

Place was very clean and had everything we needed. Pool was surprisingly huge (12ft deep) and very wide. It was the size of most hotel pools. Hot tub was great. No neighbors except for the guests at Heavan Can Wait (cabin at the front of the property) came down the path to view the river a couple of times. Other than that we had plenty of deer, rabbits, turkeys and all other kinds of wildlife. Will definitely be back to this one.

An amazing place to stay

This was our first time staying at Heaven's Oasis. We were very satisfied, first of all, with the cleanliness of the " beach house". The Shenandoah River ( easy access) was a peaceful scenery, and also fun to play in! My husband and 2 boys did a little float down the river. The pool, however, was the highlight of our stay! We appreciated the rafts and pool toys that were provided. We are already discusding planning another trip there, but next time, renting both cabins- Heaven's Oasis and Heaven Can Wait, and having a double family vacation! Both cabins have access to the pool! It's in a very secluded area, so that only added to our relaxing get-away! We also highly recommend the 2 following restaurants in Luray: Dan's Steakhouse, and The Chop House Bistro!

Great location long slow road to get anywhere 14 miles from any road

Property was great when we were there, the only thing that was a bummer was I think the pool pump was back flushing in the middle of the night. I think it was on a timer At 2:30 am and ran for a long time and we had to shut the windows because of the noise of running water. Also most mornings at 6:00 the pool was being filled on a timer and the pump ran for at least 4 hours at a time, so there was not much water pressure so couldn’t take a morning shower. Most windows did not have screen and the ones that did were full of bugs, so if used bugs got in hundreds. The big one in the bedroom worked, and one in the living room towards the river were the only two windows we could use.

Best rental yet!

This was the best rental experience we have had! The unit was IMMACULATE - so so clean! Looks like it was maybe an older cabin but it’s definitely been recently renovated. There were lovely touches such as a table top Christmas tree, Christmas throw pillows, and mistletoe in the doorway. There was also a welcome bag of snacks. Everything you could need was there from shampoo and conditioner, to board games, aluminum foil, and even a flashlight. The view is incredible overlooking the river. The property has easy, not steep river access. The hot tub was divine - clean and decorated with pretty lights around the pavilion. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! We even checked the type of mattress before we left so we could buy one for home it was so comfy. The linens were soft and bright and clean. The unit has a wall mounted heater in the bedroom and it heated the cabin very well. There was a Keurig that brews a pot of coffee or kcups and the house had a supply of kcups, sugar, hot chocolate, etc. The cell phone service was non existent but the WiFi worked just fine for WiFi calling. It was a PERFECT winter anniversary getaway! We will definitely be back for our anniversary next year, and probably in the summer too so we can bring our kids and our canoe.

Riverfront spot, private and peaceful!!

I took my son for a long weekend to Heaven's Oasis and was pleased with the location. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a secluded, private cabin on the river with easy access for fishing. The home was clean, had all of the basics needed and then some extra things for fun. It is definitely off the beaten path, but is such a relaxing drive there and we saw lots of wildlife which my son loved (turkey, deer, etc.) The hot tub was enjoyed every evening after we made a fire in the fire pit and made smores. I loved sitting in the rocking chair under the pavilion watching my son fish while I read a book. The bedding and towels were soft and clean and comfortable on both the bed and sofa bed. The kitchen was also clean and stocked with essentials. There is a volleyball net and a large open yard space that could be used for yard games. There also was a pool but it was closed due to the fact that we visited in March/April. There were goodies left for us that my son loved that welcomed us to the owner's home. Everything was lovely and if I had any questions, the owner's were VERY responsive! The ONLY thing I would change is having to take your trash to the dumpster down the road. Not a terrible inconvenience for us, because I have a truck, but if I was in a car, I'm not sure I would want to put trash in it. I highly recommend this spot for your next getaway!
