Though the pictures and description are mostly accurate, our stay was less than ideal.To begin, the hosts were apologetic and very accommodating when we raised issues about the space. Also, the check-in process was simple and the location was central to many activities on the eastern end of the island.As far as the actual space was concerned, it left a lot to be desired. Neither bathroom had been cleaned before our arrival. General wear-and-tear/grime was also clearly visible. The rest of the house seemed relatively clean, save for the kitchen sink which had old meat stuck under the drain stopper. The hosts refunded us a day's cost for the inconvenience. Many appliances were visibly worn and/or dirty and did not work as they should (washer, coffee makers, electric kettle, etc.). The ACs worked great. Plenty of towels avail (bath and beach) but of two beach chairs, one is broken.The hosts detail issues with shower water temperature in their handbook.With regard to the location, the home is steps from a beach, but the water is closed for safety. The closest open beach is Luquillo, 5 min Drive, which is gorgeous. It is also close to the kioskos, as well as the ferry to culebra and a short drive to el yunque. There are several bakeries, restaurants, bars, and grocery stores nearby as well.If you're not planning to hangout in the space, this is a fine place to stay; If you are, or prefer clean and/or updated digs, maybe look elsewhere.

Nice place close to the beach. Large Security Deposit.

Nice place 1/2 block from the beach.Clean. Big downstairs. Full kitchen. Living room. Full bath. Front porch. Upstairs 2 bedrooms. A/C. Comfortable beds. Upstairs porch. Full bath. Parking in front. TV. WIFI. Quiet area. Playa Azul is really nice. Not crowded. Beautiful sand. Warm water. Great waves for bogie board surfing. You can walk for quite a ways. Not a lot of restaurants or stores easily walkable, but I guess you could if you were motivated. Kiosks and Luquillo public beach would be maybe 20 minute walk Lots of things accessible with car. Everything was great except downstairs A/C was out. Host let me know one day before my visit. Significant security deposits required. Needed to remind host to return that one week after.

Very friendly neighborhood & safe

Hosts very communicative & pleasant. Townhouse spotless & plenty of dishes, pans etc Very comfortable & plenty of room There were no usable proper beach chairs or coolers. We borrowed from friends for the month Downside for us was beach @ end of street. We are water people-surf, sup, kayak, bodyboard & swim. This beach is treacherous, rip, chop etc. so we did have to travel for our water sports. The beach was safe perhaps one day/week to swim the month we were there. The municipal beach a mile away is wonderful- but understandably crowded all the time

Spacious, comfortable, close to everything

We loved our stay! All the amenities for a comfortable and pleasant stay, everything in good working order, room to spread out for privacy and space for everyone to do what they'd like. Everything is close by - beach, bakery and several restaurants are steps away, and a multitude of other restaurants, bakeries, beaches, stores, bars, etc are a short drive or longer walk. Hosts kind and responsive. Great place!

Close to beach

We loved our stay. It was very close to the beach and grocery/restaurants. A/C was working in all rooms. It was hot and we were able to sleep comfortably. We are family of 5 and an extra bed would have worked perfectly for us.

Like many properties in Luquillo, the condo is dated; however, it is comfortable and in a great location. Half a block to the beach and a short drive to stores, the public beach, and places to eat. We enjoyed our extended stay (two months) and would go back.

Could have been better

The place was big & comfortable enough to stay at and the location was great . The beach was beautiful and only half block away from the apartment , Supermarkets , pharmacies , kiosks , and places to go shopping were all very near this location . However, the unit we rented was extremely outdated . Closet doors in one bedroom were broken , ceiling fans would tilt as they were turned on and running . Dressers in both bedrooms were so old that they needed replacement .One of the bathroom curtains’ rod got lose and fell ; it was difficult to keep in place and very annoying . We contacted manager on coffee pot that just exploded while brewing coffee , and also to let him know how the other coffee maker was found extremely filthy and seemed as if the rubber parts inside the coffee maker was full of bacteria . We also called owner on this issue , but neither person responded to our needs . I got the impression that no one cared . There was also a kitchen cabinet without a door at one end . Laundry area closets had no doors at the very top and everything that was stored inside that specific area could be seen .Window screens were very old and some damaged . Overall , it was a very comfortable spacious place , but the outdated condition of many details made the unit look very ghetto . Perhaps , I would have done better by far if I had rented an apartment in La Perla . Very upset about manager and owner ignoring us after leaving a phone message to the manager and after speaking to the owner of this place .

Everything you need steps from the beach

Property was as described and excellent. Communication with the host was great and directions were simple. Cozy and spacious interior space with nice patios upstairs and downstairs. Just a few steps from beautiful beaches. Neighborhood is friendly and safe and in great proximity to many attractions on the northeast side of the island. Cheers!

lots of space, good location for visits to Luquillo beach and El Yunque

This property is not new or fancy but it is very comfortable and spacious and the owners provided everything needed for 2 couples. It would also be great for families. The beach right by the condo is nice for walking but too rough for swimming. Luquillo beach is only a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk away and has protected parking, good food and beverages, and bathrooms. It was not overly crowded during the week but I imagine that the weekend might be busier.

Spacious home in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach

The house is well situated for enjoying the beach. We appreciated the hose on the front porch for washing the sand off our feet. Plenty of room to relax, two outdoor spaces to hang out it. The nightlife of Luquillo is nearby and El Junque is just a short drive away.

Great place to stay

Very clean condo with a great beach!! The Luquillo Beach is also nearby with all the shopping and restaurants in the kiosks. Would certainly stay again!!

Great place close to the beach

The apartment is very clean and spacious. The owner reply to you quick if you have any question. Also, is in a great location near the beach, el Yunque rainforest, carabali aventure park, the kiosks for great food and other good places. I’m definitely stay here when I come back to PR. Thank you so much Tea & Wilfredo for this beautiful and comfortable apartment.

Because we spend time here as well, we have made this a warm, welcoming and functional home! We are continually updating and improving our property, which makes it a fabulous place for us, as well as for guests. We think about what we would want in a vacation home.

Our guests are welcome to use whatever they find in the kitchen, and we encourage people to make their own meals and spend time eating out on the front porch. There is also a balcony off the upstairs reading room - a perfect place to sunbath, listen to the ocean or watch the stars!
