The villa has outstandingly beautiful views of countryside and out to sea. It has been recently extended and refurbished throughout. All 4 bedrooms have sliding patio doors onto terraces, three of which are undercover. There is a private swimming pool with terrace and a stone built BBQ and seating area with a fridge, lighting and electricity. The living room has panoramic views through sliding doors on two sides over the valley and out to sea. The upper terrace is reached through the living room and is equipped with a Grand Hall gas BBQ, a hardwood outside table and chairs for 8 and an antique Indonesian hardwood sofa with cushions. There is a utility room downstairs equipped with a second tall fridge/freezer, a washing machine, dryer and sink unit. The downstairs terrace has further seating and another hardwood sofa with cushions. There is plenty of off street parking if required. The villa is situated in Les Teules midway between Santa Cristina and Castell D'Aro - 3 minutes by car.

Location: Santa Cristina D'Aro is located in the heart of one of the most spectacularly beautiful areas of Spain, the Costa Brava. There is something for everyone here. You are spoilt for choice of beaches with Sant Pol, Sant Feliu and Playa D'Aro less than 10 minutes away by car and the outstanding beach villages of Calella, La Franc and Timariu less than 25 minutes away. The historic and vibrant city of Barcelona is just over 1 hour away by car or train and the beautiful city of Girona can be reached in less than half an hour. For the active and adventurous there are activities including horse riding, wind surfing, quad biking, paint balling, tennis etc, to name but a few all available locally.

Sporting facilities: There are numerous sporting facilities nearby. There is a sports centre opposite the entrance to the urbanisation. The facilities here include, tennis, squash, football, gymnasiums and mini golf. There is also a very good childrens play area and 5 a side football court a few minutes walk from the villa. There are many golf courses nearby, the nearest of which is Golf Costa Brava, in Santa Christina d'Aro.

Historical Sights: The beautiful old city of Girona is only a thirty minute drive away. The attractions here include many historical buidlings and the houses that line the River Onyar are a spectacular sight.
Barcelona is less than an hour and a half's drive away and can also be reached by train. The attractions here are too numerous to mention but include Gaudi's Sagrada Familia.
Figueres with the Dali Museum is approximately an hour's drive away.

We had a brilliant holiday in this superb villa which had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen is well equipped and living areas are spacious, great for us as we had a couple of rainy days so staying indoors was perfect. The pool area is great too as it has a bar type area plus fridge so we were able to settle in for our days sunbathing. There are restaurants nearby and lots in the surrounding areas. Communication and response from the owner was prompt and check in was straightforward. We had such a great time and would go again, thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous villa with lovely views

Spacious villa and pool with lots of room for lounging and dining al fresco; great views of the surrounding hills and out to the sea. Lots of local places of interest nearby. We really enjoyed our stay

Fabulous

We had a lovely week at the villa. Loved the views from the terrace and the lounge. The pool was sparkling clean and furniture comfy. It’s a short drive to incredible coves and fab restaurants. Super accomodatie!

Het was een top accommodatie gelegen in een rustige wijk. Wij zijn met 2 gezinnen met pubers op vakantie geweest en de accommodatie bood door de verschillende lagen een plek voor iedereen. Het huis had een fenomenale uitzicht door de iets hogere ligging. Het zwembad gaf de nodige verkoeling tijdens de warme dagen. Vanuit de locatie kan je er lekker op uitgaan en was het een mooie uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Een mooi en net huis. Zeker waard om nog een keer terug te komen.

Un beau sejour malgré tout

Depuis le jour de la réservation, très bon contact avec le propriétaire. Il reste joignable jusqu'à votre arrivée. En revanche personne ne vous fait l'état des lieux ni à l'entrée ni à la sortie... Un bien d'exception organisé sur 3 niveaux avec de nombreux escaliers. La piscine de trouve au dernier niveau, en bas, atttention de ne rien oublier... La cuisine est spacieuse et ergonomique, il manque malgré tout des ustensiles(pour répartir aux 3 endroits de cuisson) et les couverts sont fragiles. Il n'y a pas non plus la machine à glaçons annoncée. Les salles de bain sont au nombre de 2 et il y a un WC indépendant au 1er niveau. Pas 2 salles de bain. Ce bien merite d'être climatisé aux vues des températures et de la gamme de produit! L'agence immobilière vous apporte des reponses standardisées pour apprendre à vous passer de ses services. Les consignes d'arrivée vous sont envoyées 3semaines avant votre sejour, ce qui fait que le jour J j'avais oublié les 3/4 des infos. Séjour tout de même apprécié, mais qui merite ces précisions. La piscine est nettoyée par un agent 2 fois par semaine, ce qui est un vrai plus. En revanche vous payez des frais de ménage mais on vous demande de nettoyer les appareils de cuisson avant de partir, même si ça semble logique qu'on ne part pas sans nettoyer un minimum,le message reçu le jeudi après-midi pour vous rappeler la fin de votre séjour est malvenu... La ville est vraiment extra, bien entretenue et sécurisée ! Un beau sejour en somme

Amazing house for family

I recently rented the house for my family and I have to say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The house was spacious, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The pool was a definite highlight and provided endless hours of fun for everyone. The location was also perfect - close to all the amenities we needed but still in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Overall, I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great vacation experience. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back again!

Mooie omgeving, huis is aan een opknapbeurt toe

Het huis is qua indeling en stijl zoals op de foto’s. Veel terrassen, voldoende ruimte. De omgeving is prachtig als je even 10 minuten de auto pakt, zit je of in het gezellige platja d’ aro of het rustige platja de pol. Het uitzicht op het hoogste terras is prachtig. Het huis heeft alleen een opknapbeurt nodig: de lades in de kasten vallen uit elkaar, de kranen lekken, de kussens op ligbedden zijn flinterdun geworden, de matrassen in de bedden zijn op. Met hele kleine kinderen zou ik niet voor dit huis hebben gekozen: de drie terrassen zijn niet afgeschermd met een hekje. En het hoogteverschil is 42 traptredes.

Très belle maison

Séjour très agréable. Stuart répond vite aux mails et aux questions et donne de bon conseil. La maison est parfaite avec une vue extraordinaire. Très joliment meublée et confortable pour 2 familles. Plage à 10 minutes en voiture, il est très facile de se garer prêt de la plage et il n’y a pas de circulation. Le coin est très chouette également. Seul bémol le lave vaisselle ne fonctionne pas très bien, obligé de relaver à la main pas mal de vaisselle. Sinon c’est parfait.

Heerlijk huis!

GENIALE

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans un endroit paisible , entouré de verdure . La maison est tout simplement magnifique , une vue à couper le souffle , à proximité de tout (commerces , plages , restaurants , bars ) , le coin piscine avec son barbecue et son petit salon est endroit juste magique ... Les propriétaires sont très sympathique dans les échanges par mails et très disponibles. N'hésitez pas , allez y.

Super villa

Nous avons passé un super séjour en août 2014. La maison est superbe et très agréable à vivre. Elle est très bien agencée et équipée. Le quartier est résidentiel et très calme . Les enfants ont adoré la piscine. Nous avons adoré les stations balnéaires aux alentours. Pour les sportifs, il y a une piste cyclable de 40 km sur laquelle on peut également courir. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et à l'écoute. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner ! Très bonne adresse. Sandrine C

Fabulous Villa – Everything you could want!

My family and I have recently spent a wonderful week at this villa. It is a very spacious and extremely comfortable villa with amazing views over the Costa Brava coastline and hills. There was plenty of space, inside and out for our family to relax. The property is equipped with everything we needed and the owners have thought of many things that you would not expect such as CDs, Books and DVDs. The pool and barbeque area is great and we needed to make a concerted effort to go out for the day. However, when you want to go out, the choice of places to visit is extensive. We liked the vibrant town of Playa d’Aro for its restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed Sant Pol and Lafranc for the beaches. We took a trip to Girona old town which is well worth the visit and only 30 minutes by car from the villa. Next time we will visit Barcelona which is only an hour away. We recommend this property for a great holiday and we will be back as soon as we get a chance. Clive & family - Bromley, UK

Tres agreable maison de vacances

Situee en haute coline, dans un quartier residentiel plutot chic avec une superbe vue dur la mer. La proprietee ne manque de rien. Excellent confort et cuisine hyper equipee. Ideale pour 2 familles ou une tres grande famille, Nos enfants se sont amuses dans la piscine quand nous souhaitions une bonne siesta. A quelques kilometres de magnifique petites plages avec de nombreux restaurants. Nous avons passes de superbes vacances et avons decouvert une tres belle region. Recomenderons a famille et amis cette proprietee sans aucun soucis.

A great Bolthole !

A lovely villa in a beautiful area, and a great base for us. We stayed here for my 50th birthday with my wife and kids aged 20 and 23, and we all had a lovely relaxed holiday. We had pre-conceived ideas of the Costa Brava as maybe not our cup of tea, but this is an ideal base for exploring the Costa Brava proper. There are some quite beautiful beaches in the area that are frankly some of the best we have been on. With nice walks and clear blue sea it was very chilled. S'Agaro and Sa'Conca were our favourites. We went to other towns and villages that were well worth the visit, and you need a car to get the most out of the trip. Platja D'aro is 5-10 mins in the car & has a large beach, plus lots of shops, bars & restaurants. Classy town that we used mainly for shopping and going out to eat. Nothing rowdy or tacky in sight ! We also went to Barca just over an hour by train & Girona half an hour by car - both obviously wonderful places of interest. The villa itself has all the amenities that anyone could need, inc nice pool, and when we stayed in, we would have a bbq on the terrace overlooking the hills and sea beyond. Then chill out and watch a bit of telly ! All in all we crammed quite a lot into our trip, but this is a great base to do it from, so that you also feel that you have had a relaxing time. Fully recommend for all the reasons above - enjoy !

So peaceful!

We visited in September 09, and would certainly take advantage of this marvellous property again. The facilities at the villa are top class, and our children enjoyed the pool immensely! This property is near to a fantastic stretch of coastline, with great beaches and coves, all of which are safe and clean. Fabulous restaurants closeby too, when you've had enough of cooking. Do get out and about and explore this area - you won't be disappointed.

Not to be missed!

We are a family who live in Brighton, the bustling city by the sea on the south coast of England. We have been coming to the Costa Brava for many years and like to make as many trips as possible to our very special 'home from home'. Quite simply we love the unique air, light and atmosphere that this part of the Costa Brava has to offer.

We came to the area several times to view property with a view to purchase. We could never quite settle on a house which offered accommodation, position & views in equal measure - until we found this house. Here we have the most outstanding views out to the Med, access to some of the most beautiful beaches and bays you will find anywhere in the world and all within a short hop from the UK by plane, or an easy drive through France.
