The space
Great Downtown Location, but on a Mountain side overlooking the quaint mountain town Hiawassee (an Appalachian Trail community) Remarkable Cabin with a grand view of Lake Chatuge and The Mountains. Upon entering our cabin, we hope that you will feel right at home. Relax in the great room and enjoy the fantastic view thru the newly replaced Jen-Weld windows. Beautiful wood floors and ceiling, stone gas fireplace, new appliances. This spacious 3 Bedroom/3 Bath was built for making memories!

Other notable information:
The driveway is winding and all uphill. If your turning radius isn’t very forgiving, you may need to go past the driveway, turn around and turn left into the driveway. We have driven a 4 Runner, GMC 2500, a Honda Accord and a Ford Explorer without issues

Fireplace is available for use during the months of October thru April.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

It needs blinds or curtains in the bedrooms. And grills were not useable due to not being cleaned and that ungodly amount of spiders all over the two grills. The kitchen and living area were very nice and cozy. With a great view. The driveway is very tight to turn into and out of.

The cabin was great and the views were AMAZING!! Exactly as described and Dana (host) is a great communicator. With it being October and the leaves changing the view of the lake even more spectacular! Would definitely book again.

First time in Hiawassee

The property needs some work done by the owner. The biggest things were no paper towel, no extra toilet tissue, no hand soap to bathe with and multiple lightbulbs that were burned out or the fixtures did no work. If some of these things are not provided, it would be helpful if a list was available so we could be prepared.

False advertising

The whole reason I chose this cabin is because it showed a hot tub on the amenities. I reached out to the host and asked where the hot tub was and while I waited for them to respond I called VRBO. The girl on VRBO couldn’t understand English and spoke very little but she said that it had a hot tub. The host responded and said there wasn’t one. That’s the last I heard from the host. The hot tub is not on the amenities anymore but I got a picture before it was removed. That was false advertising and should get some kind reimbursement or another stay somewhere with a hot tub. The cabin did have great views. When we first arrived there was a wadded up hand towel and hand lotion sitting next to the bed. Don’t even want to know what that was about.
