About this space
remodeled 2-bedroom, 1 bath apartment in the south-West Columbus, Riverbend neighborhood. It is well located to be convenient and quick to great places in Columbus! Grove City is located a short 4 miles away with great shopping, food, and entertainment! Hollywood Casino is just 3.5 miles away. If you want to venture to downtown, you're only 11 minute drive away!
If you need a very secure, quiet, spacious and very affordable place for your entire family, this is the best deal for you.
The space
please note: We are not located in downtown but about 11 to 15mins drive away. Please if you want a place in downtown, we are not the best option for you. So, if you finally decide and book with us, we will appreciate you not giving us a bad review due to location being a few mins away from downtown!
We are located in a very secure, quiet and beautiful middle class neighborhood. All what you see on photos is same as real life because the photos are not professionally made.

Great location and Good value

We needed to be in the south Columbus area to prepare for our daughter's wedding. We stayed there with our sister and brother-in-law. We got there later than we expected and my sister had trouble getting in because she hadn't gotten the latest email. But when we called the host, he was very helpful. He and his wife were also very responsive when we had other questions.

Super easy check-in

Check-in and entry into hime was super easy. Host kept us well informed, we advised host of something 1/2 way thru stay and they were rhere within 2 hrs talking to us, which was totally unnecesssry we just wanted them to know. Home is older but stocked fairly well. Could use some updating/maintenance as bathroom had holes in wall where towel ra k had been pulled off and paint was peeling, however duplex completely fitnour needa.qell

Comfy bed.

Beds were comfortable. The whole place feels like they bought a rundown property and fixed it as cheaply as they could so they could rent it out. Floors felt grimy. Bathroom made me wish I brought shower shoes. Corners and baseboards were dusty/dirty. Ice maker in the fridge not plugged in. Water in the sink did not get cold. I believe my son said "are we going to get stabbed here...?" when we pulled up and entered the property. Owners were quick to respond to messages and allowed my two dogs to stay with me for an extra fee. Wouldn't stay again, but if you need someplace to sleep, the air conditioning worked really well and the beds were comfortable.

Should NOT be a rental

I would give this place zero stars if I could. The entire place smelled STRONGLY of some chemical like a pesticide. There was a LARGE pile of dog crap right outside the sliding kitchen door on the patio. The walls in the bathroom were full of holes and none of us showered because the shower looked awful. The refrigerator water/ice dispenser was duct taped to the refrigerator. The ice maker did not work at all and the water sprayed everywhere when we tried to fill a cup. There were multiple pieces of trash under the couch and the coffee table. This place should not be a rental. We have stayed in many rentals but none like this!

Our stay in Columbus

We got ṭo the property a little after 4pm on Friday. The parking was ok. I liked the neighbors. They were quiet. Once we entered the property was when my disappointment set in. The place itself overall was dirty. There were dirty dishes still in the sink from the last tenant. The bathroom had a used bic shaver left in the shower area. When you turned on the water to bathe, the shower head leaked. Some of the amenities that were available were misleading. One of the main reasons that I liked the place was the washer and dryer. I get there to find out that the washer and dryer were only available if we were staying there for 3 or more nights. That wasn't in the description of the place. All in all, not a good experience.
