Escape to bespoke, rustic luxury in the heart of Wintergreen Resort!

Come enjoy our beautifully decorated, authentic log cabin to provide the perfect setting for your weekend get-a-way or holiday stay. The Cabin @ Wintergreen Retreat is more than just a place to stay; it's a personalized retreat designed to complement your getaway to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Wintergreen Resort. This custom log cabins offers a truly unique Wintergreen Resort experience.

The main floor has large great room(fireplace, living room, kitchen, and dining area). There is a queen bedroom, with adjoining bath on this level. There is a also separate den on this level for the kids to relax and play games while the adults enjoy their après ski, swim, golf or hiking time . From the great room, you have direct access to the screened-in porch and deck, perfect for family cookouts and evening campfires.

The second floor offers 3 bedrooms and the second bathroom. Two of the upper bedrooms have queen beds and the 3rd with two twin beds.

Enjoy the wonders of the Blue Ridge and all of the excitement of the Wintergreen resort from one of the most unique and bespoke cabin setting on the mountain!

Accessibility:
Despite being in the heart of Wintergreen Resort, the cabin has an easy to access flat driveway and no steps are required for the main floor Queen bedroom (the front porch entry is flat, with a single step-up from driveway).

Very cozy! Description was everything it said it was. Kitchen is well equipped, rooms were very clean, furniture is in good shape, everything was functional, and the homeowner was very easy to work with. Unfortunately, it was too cold, then snowy to enjoy the lovely screened-in porch and back deck. But the road crew (Matt and Mason )worked diligently and effectively to clear the roads and driveways AND removing the snow around our car! Overall, a great experience!

Wonderful Weekend

We had a great time in this perfectly cozy cabin :) the only thing to note is that due to the construction you hear everything in the house, which was not an issue for us. The cabin was charming and had everything we needed :)

Family Ski trip

We had an amazing time at this weekend getaway. This cabin provided us everything thing we needed and more, it was vey nice and cozy. We made some amazing memories and hope to be able to do this trip again!!!

Wonderful place

My partner is wheelchair bound but once over the initial step the place was pretty easily navigated. We had come down for an event at the Frontier Culture Musem and this was a nice place to unwind.

We were staying for a long 4th of July weekend. The house was just as advertised. We found it very comfortable and our host had air conditioners in the 2 main bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped. Most of our awake time was with family in another house, but we welcomed returning to the quiet cabin. I'd like to return sometime when we have more time to explore the trail.

Really lovely

Although the weather was rainy for the majority of our stay, the cabin has books, tons of games and a very well equipped kitchen which helped to make the stay so much fun. The space off the great room was wonderful for the kids. To top it off, when Nathan, the property manager, found out we were celebrating our six year old grand daughter's birthday he brought her a teddy bear! The kids and the adults had a wonderful stay!

Perfect Winter Getaway

We had an absolute blast at this picturesque Wintergreen cabin. We loved the fireplace, the cozy couches, and the great decor. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking supplies and the cabin is steps away from the Appalachian Trail. We snowshoed to Cedar Cliffs for a gorgeous view. The host was also very accommodating when one of our party got injured on the last day of our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice week there. The pool is only open 2 - 6 for visitors and with 2 little ones with naps we just couldn't fit it in.the up at 4 and eat at 5:30 type of thing. I would say better for adults than young kids. No yard.

Perfect Cabin Getaway at Wintergreen

This was a perfect getaway in the mountains of Wintergreen for our ski weekend. The cabin has unmatched charm for real mountain getaway feel even though it is conveniently located in Wintergreen for ease of access to skiing. From the booking to the check-in, 2 night stay, and check-out, the experience was absolutely amazing. Our host, Nathan, was so accommodating and responsive, we could not have asked for more. The cabin is also located right next to the Appalachian Trail - even though we didn't use it due to the snow on the ground, we will DEFINITELY be back for a visit to this gem of a property. If you are looking for a getaway in the mountains with the convenience of proximity to Wintergreen and the AT, this is THE property to book. The cabin makes it feel like you are off the grid, but it still has the comforts and convenience you will appreciate if you bring your kids like we did (the always want WiFi and TV - go figure). Every question or request answered promptly by Nathan so we could focus on our time with our kids and enjoy the winter activities at Wintergreen. What more can I say? The COZY CABIN was simply PERFECT! Don't overthink it or look any further - this is the place to stay at Wintergreen.
