Perfect for Two!
The owners could not have been more gracious. Valerie told us all about the animals & "warned" us that the cat might want to spend the night with us ;) (He did). The property was clean & included everything you could think of. The kitchen was well stocked & the bed was comfy. We wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect little getaway.
One of our best
Great accommodations. Everything we needed. Great animals quite and peaceful. I would recommend this to all of our friends.
Thanks, come again!
Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. I was traveling with my 6 year old son, looking for something different. We had several ideas for fun things to do in the area, but--best laid plans--we ended up just relaxing by the firepit and roasting hot dogs, playing games and enjoying this place. Our hosts were especially patient with my overwhelmingly excited child, who was bouncing off the walls and fences with joy. He helped with the morning farm chores, and you would have thought it was Christmas. The apartment was cozy, and the internet was good so that I could get some work done after the kiddo had finally exhausted himself. Great stay, we hope to go again.
We loved his enthusiasm and look forward to your return.
A great stay in the country!
You just can’t say enough about your host Valerie, and her love for the animals. So much fun to hang out with the alpacas, horses, sheep, and the cat!! Close to so many different attractions. Comfortable accommodations, and well stocked. Valerie was always ready to help in anyway. Thanks Valerie for a wonderful stay. And don’t forget to purchase the Alpaca dryer balls, they’re wonderful !!
Thank you so much. I know you will get years of use from the dryer balls! Come again soon.
Cozy, well-tended cabin over barn with friendly hosts and farm animals.
This is the unique, charming sort of place that we seek when using HomeAway. Valerie and her managerie of animals are available and hospitable. Nothing was lacking in the kitchen or bathroom, all was clean and well lit. If you want to have a cat visit, Wilbur the tabby is good company. We gathered eggs, enjoyed the robust wifi and TV, and went to the local farmers market. We look forward to coming back when it's not raining so we can bike and hike. We also purchased some yarn from the fleece of Valerie's alpacas. Valerie has many suggestions for things to do in the area and stories about their animals. Kids would enjoy the stuffed animals and story books in the cabin, and feeding the horses carrots. We didn't get to use the fire pit and s'mores equipment, but that's there as well. Next time!
Thank you for your kind words. We look forward to your return visit and can’t wait to hear what you make from the yarn!
Another wonderful visit !
