This large 4 Bedroom / 3 bath townhome in Mammoth Lakes California is great for a large family get-away. Prepare a gourmet meal in the newly remodeled kitchen or just cozy up to the warmth of the fireplace and enjoy your favorite movie. Or listen to the radio or your favorite CD's on the stereo. Conveniently located just steps away from the Red Line Shuttle route and a short walk from theaters and shopping, experience all that Mammoth has to offer while enjoying all the comforts of home. A spa, sauna, and laundry facilities round out this mountain side, restful location. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Approx 1900 sq ft; with 2 parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. Living room: Queen sleeper sofa; TV/VCR/DVD/CD, kitchen, dining, woodstove, full bath and deck. Master Bedroom: King bed/TV. Bedroom#2: 2 twin beds and shared full bath. Bedroom#3: Queen bed and shared full bath. Bedroom#4: 1 sets of Twin bunk beds, plus 2 twin beds for a total of 4 twin beds and shared full bath. Maximum Occupancy: 12. Another Great Mammoth Fishing Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has been going trout fishing in and around Mammoth each summer for over 35 years. We have usually stayed at Chateau De Montagne. We have stayed in many of the rental units and this year #23 was our selection. Everything was great, we were able to cook some meals in the unit and checked out local restaurants. Always a great place to get away from the LA area and enjoy the great outdoors.

Reviewer Comments: The size is good but the property needs updating and refreshing. There is not enough hot water for more than two showers at a time. When we were there the hot tub was broken and the fire wood supply had been uncovered and was all damp due to the recent snowfalls.

Reviewer Comments: Poor WiFi (even with good weather)Lack of sufficient trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels for the length of the stay.Carpets very worn and stained and dirty.Blender didn't work.Living room furniture very worn and broken.Not sufficient amount of dishes for large group.Overall, the unit needs an update to justify the price charged even at peak time.The description should indicate washer and dryer is available but not inside the actual unit.

Great place to stay for the price.

This place is really roomy and it is very close to restaurants to walk to. The only thing is it is really dated. The carpet had dirt stains on it. Also you cannot checkin until 5pm and had to check out by 10am. Other than that it is a great place to stay for the value.

Worked for 8 guys on a fishing trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 29th annual fishing trip in Mammoth. When you have 8-10 guys that all want to have separate beds, it can be a little difficult finding a place. This unit worked well for us and we would stay here again. Unfortunately, this condo, like so many, needs a lot of updating and newer beds and furniture.

Good location but some misleading amenity

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was ok. There were a few surprises or maybe I didn't read the fine print. I was under the impression there was a grill available at every unit. Turns out it's only available at the pool but when i try to use it the first day neither grill worked. Had to call and they fixed that the next day. We had to pan fry our burger instead of grilling. There was a picture of the indoor pool but it turns out that is located at a different about a 5 minutes drive i was told. A bit inconvenient if i'm all wet and getting in/out of car. Same thing with laundry machine, that's at another complex also. Bottom time a bit of a false advertisement. As for the unit, nicely lay out and plenty of beds for sleeping. Kitchen a bit tight but we managed. Wifi was terrible, for some reason only one person could get on the wifi, never experience that before. The bathroom on the main terrible has some major issues. Toilet knob has to be held down for about 10s to get a full flush and sometime it would also come lose. The exhaust fan sounds like an airplane engine, no kidding. The place is located very close and walking distance to grocery store and several restaurants. One thing i should mention is we did see a bear on our last night when taking the trash to the dumpster. He was actually heading to the dumpster and it was a pretty good size bear so be extra careful.

Reviewer Comments: The inside of the condo seemed very "tired" and worn out (some torn window screens, pieces of wicker falling from the two wicker chairs in living area, drapes in living area in poor condition, mish mosh of utensils/knives creating some challenges with cooking for a group, and only two folding chairs on the outside deck --- no table on the deck which meant there was no place to comfortably sit and drink coffee or enjoy the fresh air). Positives: The outdoor pool and pool area was very nice. The property's location was convenient to the town loop and to Vons.

Kitchen is a bit small but not a deal breaker, beds are super comfy especially in the master bedroom up stairs. overall I’ve always enjoyed renting out this apartment, and would come back! And another plus it’s next to everything Vons, lifts, bars, etc. ( you won’t be disappointed on location)

It had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen and very spacious common spaces to hang out in. Would definitely come back next year to be able to use the hot tub! Overall, our group was blown away by the quality and quantity of condo for the price!! Checkout and check in were also the easiest processes ever and the location being so close to Vons was ideal! Not to mention the very short commute to the mountain. 10/10

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are traveling in the summer you need to be aware this unit does NOT have air conditioning. It does cool down at night with the windows open but you also get a thick layer of pine pollen(we were told) all over everything in the house, including your sinuses. House was in a good location and generally clean except the carpets are nasty. They really need to be cleaned or replaced. It really takes away from the appeal of this condo.

Reviewer Comments: Nice size for a group but, dirty carpet stairways and in rooms, dirty socks and trash in lower rooms, windows that can not be opened for air, Coffee maker with 3 weeks old coffee form a fungus in the maker still there and a toaster that one had to hold the bread down in to work. No storage space for food other than the fridge. Would never recommend this place to others ever

Not Staying Here Again

Positives: conveniently located near trolly stop #6, easy to find location, walking distance to Vons, facilities management was helpful.Negatives: found a dead mouse in one of the rooms, light fixture above kitchen sink broken, window fixtures in the room were broken, sliding glass door curtain did not move, vent fan in master bathroom was broken, the room with 2 bunk beds smelled like cigarettes smoke even though it is suppose to be a non-smoking condo.My stay overall was livable but I wouldn't stay here again.
