I loved the homely feeling of this cabin.
It has a wonderful view. The cabin itself is a little older, but that gives it all the more “cabin” feel. Best cabin I’ve stayed in this far! I am definitely recommending this place to all my friends.
Wonderful home, lot and location!
My littles and I had a wonderful visit to Gatlinburg staying in this home. It was an easy commute to downtown and Dollywood, but was secluded enough to feel that we were really getting away from it all.
Lots of room!
Made only minor complaints about the property. The freezer did not fully freeze our items. You downstairs smelled faintly like cigarette smoke but not the rest of the house. The downstairs TV had an issue with the images and color on the screen. And the door to the hot tub was through one of the bedrooms.
Otherwise the house had more than enough space for all of us. The three bathrooms were a plus! For the most part the neighborhood was very very quiet. The hot tub was actually hot unlike some other places that I have been. Also the representative for the house was quick to answer her phone and she also checked on us before we arrived at the house. I found the owner is respectful polite and easy to work with. We would definitely stay at this house again.
Overall impression was good!
The cabin was clean, but could use updating in some areas. Location was great with the tram going over! The one point of clarification is that when it says 2 bedrooms on main floor, you enter bottom floor and go up to the main floor. Rebecca was helpful and we appreciate that.
Not a clean place!
It needs a deep cleaning for sure! The bathrooms have mildew in them, all the light fixtures are filthy, the carpet needs to be replaced or at least a good cleaning! The pots & pans all need to be replaced, the ping pong paddles are old & need to be replaced also. For what is charged a night & you really don't get the the full 48 hours when you book on weekends! We booked Friday to Sunday, & you can't check in till 4 & have to leave by 10 check out day.
The way there does have a lot of twist, turns, & steep hills, so be warned!!! We enjoyed the view, the pool table & having a real fire at night!
The cabin was great for our group of college juniors and seniors. It was relatively near anything we could imagine doing and made for a great hangout with the hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table.
Fun for all ages with go-carting, in-door laser tag, and video gaming arcades for the kids; and hundreds of shops offering quilts, antiques, and a wide range of local shops with arts, crafts, and collectibles that make the days long and the stories even better. When evening falls, there are numerous options for entertainment from musicals, to magic, to shindigs and down home country fun.
