We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. Close to shops, restaurants, the water and ferry. The cottage was well appointed and just what we needed. Lauren was very communicative and helpful. We would stay again!Judi Minium
This was the most organized, cleanest, and convenient VRBO I have ever stayed in. If you're visiting Edmonds, I highly recommend this cottage. While there isn't a direct view of the water, the easy parking and EXTREMELY close proximity to cafes and restaurants just can't be beat. I'm moving to the area (Mukilteo) and I think I'll stay here again for a "staycation"!
Perfectly situated location for trips to all parts of Edmonds including travel via light rail. Location itself had all the needed amenities in a comfy atmosphere with plenty of space for a couple. Lauren went far and beyond by leaving a beautifully written card personalized for our stay. Simply the best, 10/10!
I was very comfortable there and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. I have no complaints and will visit again. I found the location perfect for exploring everything!
Great place to stay within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and downtown businesses. Was a great location to attend a local conference and also to explore other nearby areas such as Port Townsend (via ferry to Kingston). I recommend it!
A lovely stay in a super equipped small house. The location was perfect for us. We were returning for a visit to Edmonds where we had lived for twenty years. It was fun to be in downtown Edmonds and able to walk to the beaches and the restaurants.
My spouse and I enjoyed a wonderful visit in Edmonds, and the location and convenience of the cottage made our vacation that much more relaxing. The cottage and surrounding area was very quiet (even with the ferry running!), and I would definitely stay again. The management was very communicative and response to our needs. 10/10.
Cute little home with all the necessary amenities. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable and communication with the owner was excellent.
However, it is the location that will bring us back as we were just one block from the main street in Edmonds and within walking distance of almost anything you could want or need. No more staying at hotels in Lynnwood for us - this will be our new "go to" location for our trips to Seattle!
I went to Edmonds because I was scheduled for a total knee replacement and needed a place with no stairs and an outdoor area to sit in the sun and ice my knee. This was the perfect place. As I got better I could walk the short distance to a park bench to watch the trains and the ferries while smelling the wild roses next to the water.
Edmonds is probably our favorite town in the entire PNW and this cottage is located right in the center, Walking distance to everything .. restaurants, bars, movie theater, Center for the Arts, beach, ferry and stores. It's tucked away in an alley between Main Street and Bell Street so it's very quiet despite being in the center of the action. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and a perfect size for the two of us. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back.
What a gem! I was visiting the area doing some house hunting/school visits for the kids. I was traveling alone so initially thought I’d prefer a hotel, but the local one was full when I booked…so I ended up here, and I’m so glad I did. The parking/access was very safe and comfortable. Kitchen was all I needed for my brief stay (thanks for the coffee!!). The host was attentive and proactive, installing a window unit that day due to an impending heat wave. Will definitely bring my husband next time we get a chance to visit together.
Property was fantastic. The location could not have been better. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We parked the car when we arrived and never used it again until we checked out.
It is a perfect house for two people. We've never stayed in a VRBO that was any better and we've never seen a house so well stocked with all of the essentials.
I'm sure we will be back to Edmonds and we will definitely stay here again. You can't do better than this if you're planning on coming to Edmonds!
What a great place! Quiet, private and still in the heart of Edmonds. We visited from the Chicago area and stayed 12 days to visit friends and family. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions. The unit was nicely finished and furnished and outfitted like a hotel (including extra toothbrushes and razors for the "oops I forgot my ....") only better since we had a kitchen.
The internet was great and I was able to work during our stay. Down town is literally 2 blocks away, a wide variety of restaurants, art galleries, a wonderful book store, coffee shops etc. The Kingston ferry is 3 blocks away, just walk on and enjoy the trip to Kingston, a fun little town. The whale watching cruise boats are about 15-20 minutes walk. You could even arrive via Amtrack from as far away as Minnesota (a little humor as I have a friend now in Port Townsend that has made the trip), the train station is across the street from the ferry.
Stay here - you will not be disappointed!
The property was exactly as advertised. It was clean and everything worked well. The kitchen was equipped to handle any cooking or baking you would want and the bed was comfortable. The bedroom was spacious with a nice desk and the living room was also a good size. The decor was tasteful.
The location works well. We did not need a car while there. We used ride-share to get to transit station to go to Seattle and the airport. It is walking distance to train station, ferry, and all the downtown shops and restaurants. We loved walking to the bakery to get fresh croissants to enjoy with the breakfast we prepared from ingredients we got from the local hardware store.
The property manager was very helpful. She resent arrival instructions when the original email got lost in junk mail. She also got us into the cottage early when our Amtrak train arrived early which was a first for us. We had expected to be hours late.
We look forward to staying again.
Great stay! Well appointed, clean, cozy beds and wonderful location. Communication was wonderful, with easy directions for arrival and departure. Thank you! I’ll be back
