The house as as expected and equipped for our stay. We appreciated little touches like the treasure hunt our kids enjoyed and the puzzles and games available. Drink tokens for local bars were offered by the hosts as well!

The location is superb.The house has an art feeling which personally I love.We stayed there as a family of 4 and visited Niagara and nearby areas.Lots of food places,grocery stores for any meal you want to cook. Lovely stay

The home is very cozy, clean, comfortable. We love the live plants and the artwork all around the home. We ate out every meal, but coffee and creamer supplied was spot on. Necessary amenities are well supplied. Location is center to all sight seeing, dining and shopping. We will come again. Thank you!!!!

Great way to experience Lockport and Erie Canal History

My cousin and I spent four nights in this cozy comfortable home. Everything you need is there. Nice restaurants nearby, and central Lockport is only a few minutes away. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the completion of the Erie Canal. Experience the history with a canal boat ride, cycling canal trails, and visiting museums! Host is friendly, helpful, and responds rapidly to any communications :)

Stayed two nights. Arrived, adorable cottage, clean and furnished with charm. Driveway is tricky, turn around in driveway so you don’t have to back into street. Would recommend!

Nice property, clean and well kept. We love the artistic theme and the Tudor style home with original restored architectural details.We did not enjoy the lack of air conditioning in the majority of the home. It was miserable most of the day-time and early evening hours with the main floor at 84 degrees, which isn't comfortable at all.

It's the small details that matter

Missing basics: no soap, shampoo, waste basket in bath. Cant believe i have ever stayed anywhere where these things we not provided. Seriously, for the money...com' on. Also no complimentary coffee? Yet there were two tokens to get a free drink at local pubs. The house was nice, but located on a busy street. That becomes an issue if you have a house with no air conditioning and bedrooms are upstairs. Gets warm. Fan in one bedroom. But opening windows results in a lot of street noise. Too much noise for me. Downstairs the floors are coveref in area rugs. Talk about trip hazards especially the one in hallway from dining area to kitchen . Watch out for the hump. We stumbled over it numerous times. The driveway while adequate was narrow and was juxtaposed to the neighbor's with a good drop off between the two. Certainly not a game stopper but made me unwilling to back out of the drive. Turning around was tight maneuver. I'll be back to area but wont stay there again.

Valerie, we would have liked to address your concerns during your stay and pride ourselves on open communication and finding efficient, quick solutions to any issues that come up during our guest’s stays. In terms of your review, we must now address the misleading and dishonest information you provided about our home: 1. Under our amenity listing section, we do not have shampoo/soap, complimentary coffee included for guests use/consumption. Air conditioning is also not included under the amenities. A reminder about the air conditioning was sent to you in our direct welcome message prior to your reservation along with where multiple fans were located throughout the home. 2. Waste baskets are located under the bathroom sinks in both bathrooms. 3. Regarding the noise level, we fully disclose and are transparent that this may be a concern for some guests comfort level. 4. Our area rugs/carpets and layout of the home are displayed visually on the VRBO app listing and are not overly a “trip hazard” nor unsafe for our guests. Moving forward, we stress that open communication is invaluable when staying at rental properties.
