Unit was good. Beds were.The check-in process was funky. You had to go to some business and put a code in for a lock box to get the keys and then go back to the condo. Then you had to return the keys back at the end instead of just leaving them in the unit kind of inconvenient. Also no amenity passes were provided so we couldn’t get into the main clubhouse where the hot tub was. The closer hot tub was full with people and the water looked pretty nasty. If they could get the hot tub situation resolved, it would be a great place to stay.

As you can imagine, that's a lot of keys to keep track of. I looked into our text message system, but you never responded to our request for names to provide amenity passes in your arrival packet. The property is pretty beaten up which is not described in the listing. The walls are scratched extensively, the master shower was broken, and the fire place door was broken. The unit smells like smoke. We also found an old Budweiser can under a bed that the cleaners didn’t get. Generally a mediocre unit.

Great stay!

We really liked the property. It was large enough for the 6 of us and well equipped. Short drive to Bald Mtn for skiing and downtown dinner and shopping. Loved the hot tub close by.

Great condo for a family ski vacation

We really enjoyed staying in this condo for a family ski vacation. The beds were decent and there was plenty of space. We enjoyed the large kitchen table for meals and game playing. It was nice to have access to the Elkhorn Village hot tub after a day of skiing!

Clean, comfortable, and accomodating

This is a really nice property that comfortably accommodates 5 to 6 people. The property is well taken care of and has all of the required amenities. It was an approx 10 minute drive to River Run and the Sun Valley slopes. It snowed approximately 6 inches the day we left and the walkways and driveways were already clear by 8 am. I'd stay here again.

Wonderful

We loved it! We had a great and comfortable stay. One thing to be aware of- the railings to the side of the stairs and in the loft have slats wide enough for a small child to fit through. I was traveling with my children ages 2 and 4 and we had to block off those areas. Had they wanted to, they could have easily fallen from the loft out from the dining room area to the tiled entryway.

Nice condo!

Really liked the space, fit us all well with the loft and roomy kitchen/living/dining area! The hot tub was very close and roomy, which is a great perk on a ski trip. Everything was clean and convenient. Even an easy bus stop right by the condo to get to town. Only thing to mention is the check-in process requires you to go to the office, which makes it more difficult with a late check-in. They do have a lock box for keys which is easy, but we had to go back to the office again for the hot tub access. Not really a problem just worth noting so you can plan for it! Overall great stay!

Sunburst Condo - Elkhorn, Idaho

We really enjoyed our stay. Our six year old son referred to it all weekend as the “cozy condo”. It was very clean and well stocked with linens, kitchen items, etc. Our only other comment would be that we were not made aware of the fact that the outdoor decks are in the process of being redone. We were not only not able to enjoy evenings outside but were woken up to construction at 8-830am both Friday and Saturday. That would have been nice to know in advance of our stay.

Great Stay!

Nice condo and all the amenities to go along with it. The place was clean and everything worked as described. Location was close to town and mountain and other key areas to visit. We had the week before xmas and enjoyed this property with family and friends. The Wyndam property mgmt company was very accommodating and helped when a heater fan was constantly running. The only suggestion is to look at master bed as it felt brand new but when getting in and out it was pretty loud like a springs or coils issue. Not a huge deal but wanted to pass on. Will be back!

Great spot

The place is very comfortable and conveniently located. It’s close to skiing and town. The checkin window is pretty tight and the checkin location is separate from the property but it isn’t bad and checkin was fine with some planning ahead. The property manager is very responsive and helpful. The hot tub at the place was cold but we had access to the elkhorn pool which had a great hot tub. The kitchen isn’t stocked very well. Pans aren’t very good so glad we brought our own. And make sure to bring your own coffee filters. But the set up of the place is great for a group with a big open main floor and large dining table. Beds are comfy and good water pressure in the showers. Would book here again.

Great Condo for a Ski Vacation!

This was our second year in a row staying in the same condo for a family ski vacation! It has the perfect amount of space and beds for a family of 6. It's nice to have access to a hot tub after a long ski day! A couple suggestions for improvement: The condo really needs a new frying pan! The teflon coating on one is completely coming off and is unusable. There is only one small stainless steel frying pan. The kitchen is stocked with very bare minimum items for cooking. The King size mattress is also in need of an upgrade. The internet had issues working well. Thankfully we skied during the day and then had games to play in the evenings.

Read the Full Description

Next time I will be sure to read more carefully the “full description” of the property. I overlooked the note that stated the decks and balconies were being rebuilt. There was a construction zone going on right outside our unit so no outdoor balconies for barbecuing or sitting or eating outdoors. For me, being a light sleeper, the bed in the master bedroom was terrible because it produced creaking sounds (from the rickety box springs) with every little movement, resulting in a very disruptive nights sleep. Luckily the other bedroom had twin beds which I slept in the rest of the stay.
