Perfect location, charming space

We loved our stay! The condo is in a great location, in walking distance to the boardwalk, shopping and great restaurants. Also it’s a quick 30-40min drive to some of the most beautiful scenery in the area including Peggy’s Cove. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location

This was the perfect location to travel on foot to various places on the waterfront. Underground parking was a bonus. Would recommend this place.

Fantastic

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the condo. The location was steps away from Halifax harbour, quiet and comfortable. If we were to return we would most definitely stay again.

Excellent apartment for either work or vacation

Very comfortable and great location. It was very bright and well equipped. Great view from living room and work station looking east over the harbour and from a small balcony. Easy access and parking. Highly recommended, if within budget.

A Condo with a view

We stayed at the Penthouse Harbourfront Condo in the last week of July. The instructions made it easy to find and check in. Our first impressions were how clean and comfortable the condo was. Located on the waterfront it's an excellent property to explore everything downtown and the waterfront of Halifax has to offer. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone travelling to Halifax in any season. Certainly a home away from home.

Better than a hotel.

I can't stay in hotels without getting a major migraine from all the strong scents, so we decided to try this. The owner made every effort to make sure we had a pleasant and relatively scent-free stay. The condo is clean and carpet free, and the windows open for fresh ocean air. As others have said, the location and view are ideal. Everything you need is here. Free parking included is great because parking at the waterfront is quite expensive. The perfect place to stay for our first trip to Halifax, and no migraine! We would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful property near boardwalk

The stay was fantastic. The property was in an ideal location, located just off the harbor. Steps away from the boardwalk, with plenty of restaurants and great people watching. The Citadel, Halifax Public Gardens, the Ferry and downtown all were within a one mile or less walk. The property was ideal. Very clean with a full kitchen and one nice sized bedroom with a small-ish patio. A washer dryer were down the hall. There is a dedicated parking place. AJ and Pam were fantastic hosts--very attentive and always ready to provide tips on all that Halifax and the area offers.

Great downtown Halifax condo

The condo was situated right across from downtown waterfront. Great for accessing the best of Halifax shopping district and boardwalk. The only downside was that the “harbour view” is now mostly blocked by construction underway creating a new high rise building. The condo was clean, and came with most cooking and cleaning items needed. The underground parking was great as downtown Halifax is very difficult to find spots to park. We recommend this place and will likely be returning again. John and Janice

Halifax Conference Visit

Only issue with property is it does not have central air conditioning. We found the property to be very warm even with all heating sources were turned off and window and door wide open. We found we needed to use the portable air conditioning unit and/or the fan next to a fully opened balcony door to get enough cool air.

Fantastic location! Amazing city! Awesome hosts

It was a fantastic, fantastic, fantastic location! The only slight drawback is the photos didn't show just how far along the construction of the building across the road is. It did block most of the view of the water. The owner did tell us this prior. We would stay here again in a second. Location is everything and the apartment was cute. Pam was an absolute dream to deal with. So enjoyed our laundry being included in the price. Lots of toiletries. Great TV selection (though we hardly used it, we were out so much) and quiet for sleeping. Air conditioner was great aas were the black out curtains! Thanks JJ and Pam. I am sure we'll be back!

Fabulous location for an enjoyable vacation

We have been to Halifax many times but never stayed in a condo with a kitchen. We love to cook and wanted to take advantage of the Seaport market close by. This condo was the perfect location to walk to the market, bars, ferry terminal. We loved the balcony and I enjoyed coffee overlooking the harbour every morning. Our vacation couldn't have been better. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome property location

Our stay was awesome. The view of the water was breath taking. The condo had all that you required, plus extra (umbrellas and backpack). AJ was very prompt and helpful with all communication. Such a bonus to have parking downtown as well. The location couldn’t have been any better, you could walk to many historical sites, theatres, breweries, coffee shops and any type of restaurant but very nice and quiet. The condo being right across from the waterfront boardwalk was such a bonus. Definitely would love to stay there again!

Clean and Centrally Located

Loved the condo; very clean, very bright and very welcoming. The location is fantastic, close to the waterfront, shopping and restaurants. Great for walking the boardwalk. Very well appointed with all the necessities and amenities one could want. Parking is a bit tight so would recommend renting a smaller car if you wish to park underground. Would definitely rent this place again.

Perfect space for two in Halifax. Bright, waterfront views, everything included that you need for a short or long stay- even umbrellas. Safe well maintained building, Upscale lighting fixtures, laundry on the same floor, comfortable linens and bed. Would definitely book again and. again...

Outstanding location

We found this property to be well located, secure, and comfortable. The view of the harbor and proximity to the boardwalk was great! The nicely decorated one bedroom with living room and kitchen is well equipped and met all of our needs. Waterplace was a perfect base for our eight night visit. The owner is very responsive and obviously cares about his guests' comfort.

Great location, very clean and modern condo, has everything you need for a great vacation.

We stayed for a week, the condo is in a great location for all of the downtown activities....just a few minutes walk to everything. The condo is exceptionally clean and well maintained. It provides a wonderful base for a busy vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and would not hesitate to recommend it to other vacationers!

Excellent choice!

The property is in an excellent location central to many wonderful place & restaurants. It is kept spotlessly clean, quiet, & is well equipped. There were several improvements since our stay last year. The view of the harbour is spectacular. Unfortunately, we were there during an extreme & unusual for Halifax heat wave & the portable air conditioner was not sufficient to keep the unit cool. That is the only reason, it was rated at 4 rather than 5 stars.

An Idyllic Retreat at Halifax’s Harbour

This condo suite is immaculate and has been with each of our stays. The extra amenities of the building enable gym, pool, and indoor parking access. This downtown area provides many nearby restaurants, shopping and services all within walking distance. Communication with the owner is friendly and timely. Excellent instructions are provided to assist you with your stay. The view and location are idyllic. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy this space and the harbour views.

Clean Comfortable and Convenient!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at AJ's while visiting Halifax. The condo is in an excellent location on the Harbourfront, with many attractions, and restaurants close by! It was very clean, well appointed, and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. AJ is a considerate owner, who was always accessable, should you have any questions. We would definitely stay here again, on a future visit! Thank you AJ!

Excellent unit with beautiful views in prime location

We had a great stay at AJ's property while visiting Halifax for a conference. The unit is clean and tastefully furnished with thoughtful, surprising extras including a backpack, umbrella, and robes. The building has a beautiful view of the harbour with everything in easy walking distance from museums to eateries. The checkin/checkout process couldn't have been easier. We will definitely keep this unit in mind should we be visiting the area again.

Great harbour location

This one bedroom unit is exactly as pictured, clean and very well equiped. It is perfect for two people. It is located across the street from the boardwalk and many restaurants. It has a small balcony, where you can watch cruise ships, as they arrive and depart. Parking is included and is a real bonus. We stayed two weeks in May and hope to return in the future. Excellent stay in Halifax

Very neat, well furnished and well kept apartment at a great location in Halifax harbor. AJ is a caring and responsive owner who has provided everything for a comfortable stay. Excellent location right on the lively harbor with great view. Most of the city attractions, restaurants, grocery etc. are close by and within walking distances. A great selection for a couple in this studio apartment.
