What makes this house unique

Weaverville is a sweet little town just far enough away from Asheville to get away from the crowd but not so far to be inconvenient. Last few years some very good restaurants have opened and offer some great local choices. The Glass Onion on Main Street, a fantastic bakery (Well Bred), a quiet internet cafe (All Good Coffee), Blue Mountain Pizza (usually has live music), and The Twisted Laurel to name a few. Miya Gallery/Store and Mangum Pottery showcase beautiful locally made art and craft work. You don't have to go back in to Asheville to have a night out. The house sits close to the parkway, 10 minutes from downtown Weaverville and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Hiking, Zipline, Natural Hotsprings, river tubing are all nearby.

Perfect house and location

  • 5 of 5

Convenient to Ashville for activity and also in 15 minutes we could be watching the sunrise over the valleys on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed the small town of Weaverville even more than Ashville. The home had everything we could have wanted and lots of extras. Having two master bedrooms was great and the walk in shower room was heaven. Also - if you are a gardener at all, the property is a great setting. Everything is exactly as pictured in the photos.

Peaceful and wonderful.

Our only disappointment is we had to leave to return from vacation. Second time for us and hope to be back. If you love nature with close access to trails, good food and good drink... it's hard to beat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay. The property was incredibly unique and located in a picturesque setting. We couldn't have been happier with our stay, the property, or the owner.

Amazing place! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for a month in April. We fell in love with the house and the area so much that we started looking into places nearby that we might buy! The setting could not be more lovely. Beautiful mountains in the background, lush green valleys in the foreground. And the house is perfect. Big open floor plan on the main floor with kitchen, dining and living room. Huge windows that look out to the mountains. One large bedroom on the first floor and an equally big bedroom on the second floor. All have big windows to see the beautiful scenery. And, Leah could not have been nicer or more helpful with anything we needed. Couldn't ask for a better rental in the Asheville/Weaverville area!!

Wonderful, Excellent, Beautiful, Wonderous, Relaxing, and More

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the Wild Mountain Air House and will be back as soon as we can. The house was so wonderfully decorated with natural woods, rugs, views. The kitchen was well equipped...we cooked a great meal one night. The eateries in Weaverville are great. Be sure to visit the Stoney Knob and the coffee shop downtown. There was so much room in the house. You did not feel like you were cramped into a small space. This house sits up on a hill with a small country road winding around to it. Birds sing all day long. We walked, dined, rested, and refreshed out spirits. I would recommend this place to anyone needing respite.
