About the property

Studio apartment with a private full bathroom sleeps up to 4 people

The large studio is about 450 square feet or 42 meters in a South End Brownstone built around 1860. The apartment home features all new stainless full size appliances, television, stereo, dvd player, wireless internet, all kitchen utensils, pots, dishes, towels, sheets and blankets.

In the apartment there is a queen size Murphey bed that easily pulls down from the wall. This bed is extremely comfortable. The sofa opens up to a full size bed. I can also supply a twin size blow up mattress.

In the apartment is one large closet with lots of room for longer stays. The good size bathroom features a combination bath tub/shower, toilet and sink.

In the building is a coin operated washer/dryer and just next door is a laundromat where clothes can be left in the morning and picked up later in the day.

Just off the apartment is a small private deck with a table and 4 chairs. A perfect place for coffee in the morning and sun in the afternoon.

You will be personally met at the apartment when you arrive unless you get in late at night or very early am.

If you cannot be met because you are arriving late, keys will be left for you.

Great location

  • 5 of 5

The space is small, but still worked well for three people and was comfortable, safe and quiet. I would say definitely "as advertised". Kevin met us at the front steps and showed us around, giving us information about the neighborhood and greater Boston area. The neighborhood is awesome and close to everything. We ended up walking everywhere. Thanks Glenn and Kevin!

Location was great, made up for other pitfalls.

  • 4 of 5

The location was close to ideal with an easy check in. The back porch and yard left A LOT to be desired, VERY different from the pictures. We were initially excited to be able to enjoy coffee but extreme lack of upkeep denied that. Overall I would stay again and even recommend as long as expectations of the back yard are tempered.

Good location, mostly clean, but not entirely what we expected

  • 4 of 5

It was my husband and my first time staying in a VRBO. We stayed three nights, and were mostly just there for sleeping as we had full days planned. Would have rather just had the keys left for us, as it was more tough to have to have an appointment to meet Kevin while on our vacation. (Kevin & Glenn were informative & accomodating, just felt bad that we couldn't give an exact time to meet, as we had a long drive with our 9 month old, so having to hold someone up was stressful to me.) As you can see from the pictures, you walk up a flight of stairs to get to the door & the unit was down a flight of stairs. The lower level was not as appealing as other units may have been. The kitchen was completely stocked & having a blow dryer, iron and ironing board was nice. My husband told me that the TV was poor quality, as the volume didn't turn down low & the picture wasn't great. Overall, a pretty nice place in Boston's South End.

Spacious & clean. Well stocked kitchen appliances. Multiple outlets for charging devices.

  • 4 of 5

We were met & assisted into our apt, then shown where things were. It was clean, safe neighborhood, near T bus stop. Bed was a bit hard, but room was spacious - sufficient outlets for charging devices. Kitchen was stocked with appliances & cookware. There was a nice deck in the back. Quiet neighborhood for the most part. Enjoyed our stay.
