About Teri and Charlie Lynn
When we aren't on Little Exuma, we live in Norman, Oklahoma. VERY different locations, for sure, but we love them both.
Teri and Charlie Lynn purchased this House in 2014
Why Teri and Charlie Lynn chose Exuma
You have to see Tropic of Cancer Beach. This is the prettiest beach and water we have ever seen. Combine that with the friendly local population, easy access from the States and we were sold.

Beautiful Home and Location
After staying at the resorts in Exuma, my family wanted to try staying on the Tropic of Cancer. I did some searching and stumbled on the Orange House, it sounded perfect for our needs.
It was a lovely home and a wonderful experience overall. I’ll start with the couple of “cons” (I use that lightly, nothing major).
1) the upstairs bedroom/bath are actually separate from the main house. The stairs are outside (20 steps) and the entrance is separate. I needed to be in hearing range of my family, so we didn’t utilize the upstairs at all. It was beautiful up there, and I did use the deck a lot.
2) it isn’t easily maneuverable for elderly folks. For my son and I, it was no effort, but both my parents needed help getting up and down the front porch.
1) the house is well appointed and easy to navigate.
2) the owners were quick to respond to any query/issue I had
3) the location of the house was perfect and afforded beautiful views and sounds of the ocean.
4) there were beach chairs, umbrella and towels galore!
5) hot/cold water cooler
6) the A/C rocked! And the screens in the doors and windows opened for a beautiful cross breeze on the one day we didn’t need the AC
7) Norman was quick to help us out with any on island issues.
I would 100% recommend the Orange House. It’s open floor plan and accessibility to the Tropic of Cancer make it a win-win. I don’t think there are many locations that can compete with this area’s beauty.
If you’ve been here before, you know the roads coming in are bumpy, so take it VERY slow to avoid car damage/flat tires.
Amazing Family Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed a nice relaxing Exuma experience. The house was perfect for all of our needs. The close by beach is an amazing experience. We took many walks around with our children and enjoyed every moment. Owners are superb.
It's always nice to hear that guests enjoyed their vacation. Thanks for taking the time to review your stay.
We had a great time for our second trip to the Orange House! The beach is awesome and the house has everything you could need. The hosts are very responsive. I would recommend for families or 3 couples! Can’t wait to go back!
Thanks for choosing the Orange House again. Hurry back!
From start to finish, this vacation at the Orange House was pure bliss. The house was comfortable, clean, well equipped with plenty of towels beach chairs and three different outside decks with which to watch the sunrise or sunset. It’s proximity to Tropic of Cancer Beach was great... a two minute walk to the most beautiful beach. We cannot think of a single negative to this house. Everything was exactly as described and the owners were great in responding quickly to any questions we had prior to our arrival. We all agreed that we want to return to Orange House
Thank you for the nice review. You guys would most certainly be welcome back.
Fantastic location, great property!! This home served everything we could have hoped for and more. If you like your own slice of paradise, please consider this property as we absolutely loved every second of being here!!
Thank you so much for the review.
Little Exuma Paradise
Wonderful home located in the best part of Exuma. Safe, quiet and steps away from one of the best beaches you’ll ever sink your toes in. Super hosts very responsive and accommodating. The river style Kayaks were a bit of a challenge to paddle but they got us to island and back again.
Thank you for choosing the Orange House and taking the time to review your stay.
The main attraction is the Tropic of Cancer Beach. It has been rated as one of the top ten beaches in the world. Close proximity to restaurants/bars. Ferry to Stocking Island for food, drinks and a day's adventure very much worth your time. The house is a 1 minute walk to the Tropic of Cancer Beach. The nearest village is Williams Town home of Santana's Grill Pit and The Tropic Breeze where you can have food and drinks. Both are within 10 minutes. Bone fish within five miles.
Further up the coast is the main town of GeorgeTown, where you can rent boats, schedule boat tours (pigs, snorkeling, fishing, etc.), visit the local straw market for unique souvenirs and gifts. The fish fry just outside of Georgetown offers a wide variety of local cuisine and music.
