This is 1 of only 6 three bedroom units in Mountain Lodge. This one is unique as it is conveniently located on the first floor with a slope side view and across the hall from an exit to our private parking area, which is a huge bonus when visiting Snowshoe.
Condo features a large living area including 2 sofas and a flat-screen TV. 1st bedroom is a master suite with a private bath, a queen bed and TV. 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, a flat screen and slope side views out 2 windows with its bathroom just outside the bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is tucked away on the opposite side of the condo and serves as a second master suite which features a king bed and flat screen, not to mention privacy as well as its own bath. The living area and kitchen are in two separate rooms and both have views out on to the Ballhooter Lift. The living area includes a sleeper sofa as well as a love seat and flat screen TV.
This unit is just steps to the side door out to the Ballhooter Lift and steps to the rear entrance which leads to Village Central restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife. Just across the parking lot is the Split Rock Pools and Hot Tubs. Plenty of space to accommodate multi-family or larger parties.

We have been renting our condos in Mountain Lodge for the last 7 years and currently rent 5 1st floor units all in Mountain Lodge including 1, 2 and 3br units.

From the moment we first visited Snowshoe and all it has to offer, we were hooked on the place and after 2 seasons of ski vacations, decided it would be a great place to make a home away from home.
What makes this Condo unique
There are many unique benefits to staying in this Mountain Lodge property including the location, value, quality of the units, private parking, and personal attention of the Mountain Lodge Staff while you are a guest. Once you are out of your car, this location allows you to keep it that way until you are ready to check out. Everything the village has to offer including bars, restaurants, skiing, swimming, shopping, and nightlife are within 5 minutes walking distance.

Convenient, well-equipped, spacious living area, great location and parking
Seven of us stayed in Unit 116, four adults and three teenage boys. We had a great time and would be happy to stay here again. The common areas were bright, well-lit, spacious and comfortable. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well-equipped for anything we wanted to prepare. Three bedrooms set off from the main living area with three full baths was convenient and provided privacy. Yes, the queen and king bedroom doors open right onto the hallway (which seemed odd at first), but there was little noise except in the morning when people clomped by in their ski boots.
The following would make this great property even better: 1.) Consider one or two sets of bunks in the bedroom with two twins - and/or a new pull-out sofa (ouch) in the living room, 2.) Include free or discounted access to Split Rock Pools to be consistent with other Snowshoe rentals. At $15/day per person, you will spend a fortune if you all like to swim.
There are just a couple of minor inconveniences: 1.) There is no clothes dryer in the unit. This must be a Snowshoe thing, since we have encountered this in past stays. Bring quarters! 2.) To get onto the mountain, you must walk down the interior hall and out the side doors, and then you walk right back by the unit to get onto the mountain. Meanwhile, sliding doors in the living room and kitchen directly overlook the slopes. This probably reduces wear and tear on the main living area to have only balconies with railings there. It prevents true "ski-out" from Unit 116, but did not stop the kids from climbing over.
About the Mountain Lodge itself: The property has dedicated and convenient parking, but little in the way of amenities. Common areas near Unit 116 are poorly lit and felt dated (circa 70s-80s). There was an open area with lots of couches outside Unit 116 where they showed a kid’s movie every night. Housekeeping was helpful and friendly, supplying extra towels quickly upon request. Tip: Bring your own dish washing liquid. You will have to buy some if you run out. Don’t purchase from the front desk. Wildcat Provisions is a short walk away.
We enjoyed a comfortable stay in Unit 116 and would stay here again. Owner Mike was very responsive to our inquiries about the property. Dealing with VRBO was easy and convenient.
Good location, but dated and noisy.
The location was great, easy access to the lifts and the Villages. The unit is dated and as the bedrooms are adjacent to the hallway it was very noisy. The unit, though dated, was in good shape and served us well.

Without a doubt, this condo has the best location at Snowshoe. Over the years, we have stayed at Allegheny Springs, Highland House, Rimfire, PowderRidge and in several other condos at Mountain Lodge. This 3 bedroom is by far the largest and most convenient of them all. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect stay at Snowshoe!
We had a great stay at Peggy’s condo at Snowshoe! It was a perfect location- you could walk right outside and you were on the top of the hill and ski down, right next to all the restraurants and stores, and was quiet to relax at night. The condo was very clean, stocked with kitchen items to cook if you wished, and was large enough for multiple couples. The check in/out process was very easy, everyone we met was super friendly, and you couldn’t beat the location! This was our first trip to Snowshoe and we will definitely be back and will stay here again! I highly recommend!
