Designed for solo travelers navigating work, study, or medical care, this calm and modern studio by Skooped Up Stays offers a peaceful, comfort-first retreat. Enjoy a queen bed, full bath, stocked full kitchen, fast WiFi, and in-unit laundry—plus easy access to the Med Center, UH, downtown, and nearby trails.

We’re here to support you throughout your stay and aim to respond promptly during standard hours. Please note that we observe quiet hours between 9 PM and 7 AM for non-urgent matters. If you message during that time, we’ll reply first thing in the morning.

This centrally located residential neighborhood blends 1940s charm with modern remodels and new construction. It's walkable to the UH Technology Bridge, scenic bayou trails, and a large neighborhood playground and park with basketball courts and open green space—great for walks, study breaks, or a quiet breath of fresh air.

You're just minutes from the Med Center, downtown, the East End, and Hobby Airport, making it a convenient home base for work, treatment, or extended stays.

Please note: the backyard and driveway are shared with the main house, which may be occupied during your stay.

Guests have private access to the studio, including the entrance, in-unit laundry, and their designated parking spot at the end of the shared driveway. The driveway is shared with the main house, so we simply ask that guests do not block each other and leave room for easy in/out access.

The backyard deck and seating area are also shared with the main house. There are no shared interior spaces.

To help protect both our guests and our home, we require pre-arrival guest verification through Truvi, our third-party partner. You'll receive a secure link via email or text to complete the process before check-in. Guests are given the choice between a $500 refundable security deposit or a $35 non-refundable damage waiver, which must be selected prior to arrival.

We provide a starter supply of essentials to help you settle in:
- Trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper
- Dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods
- K-cups, olive oil, balsamic vinegar
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder
- Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap

For longer stays, we include a complimentary cleaning refresh every 2–4 weeks, depending on the length of your reservation.
This helps us maintain the comfort and quality of the studio while giving guests a chance to reset with fresh linens, towels, and clean surfaces. We'll coordinate timing in advance to ensure minimal disruption to your stay.
