Perfectly located close to one of the top beaches nationwide for families - Stewart Beach, the Historic Strand, UTMB and several great local restaurants, the Historic Palapa is perfect for your island getaway. The three bedrooms include 1 king bed, 1 queen and a trundle. Enjoy an evening breeze on the patio while taking in the beautiful garden views. This house has everything you'll need for a relaxing stay in Galveston! This is a fully furnished rental in the incredible historic east end.

BEDROOMS
The Historic Palapa is perfect for your island getaway. The three bedrooms include 1 king bed, 1 queen, and a trundle. Each room includes a comfortable bed, a little library, and a dresser. By request, we can also provide a playpen, stroller and a small collection of children's toys.

BATHROOM (s)

In the house, there is 1 bathroom with a shower + tub combination. The Tub is also jetted for a night of reading, wine, and a glorious bath. Enjoy steady hot water and great water pressure. Bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, hand soap, and body lotion are provided. There is also an additional outdoor shower to use once returning from the beach or those that just want to enjoy nature. A secondary toilet is in the the garage for more privacy. Both toilets' have a bidet.

KITCHEN

A great kitchen with plenty of counter space and a garden window. Fully equipped with cookware, glasses, mugs, plates, bowls & silverware for 6. Coffee/Tea Bar includes drip coffee maker, Keurig, and electric kettle. Blender, toaster, crock pot, and microwave included. Gas stovetop range + oven. Pots/pans, baking sheet, oil, salt & pepper.


LIVING ROOM

Perfect for low-key nights in, a SmartTV will entertain your family as they relax and unwind on the heavenly couch and sofa chair. Log in to your accounts to enjoy Netflix, HBO, Prime, Hulu, Disney+, and more. A selection of books and children's activities are provided. All the amenities such as a deck of cards, yoga mat, and family games round out your experience.

WORKSPACE

The room with the trundle bed has a workspace for our monthly renters who are virtual employees or our short stay guest when they need to check emails or take care of business. We provide a desk for your comfort, located in bedroom 2. Strong WiFi is available throughout the house.

OUTSIDE

Let the Gulf breeze envelop you while you relax with a morning cup of coffee under the Palapa. Fire up the barbeque on the charcoal grill in the fenced backyard! Space for 1 car to park parallel in front of the garage. Garage available for motorcycles.

Street parking is available in front of the property. Garage parking for motorcycles. Several local vendors are available for bike or golf cart rental.

The historic downtown strand and seawall are both walking distance. Bikes are also available. For a deposit we also have Paddle Boards for use.
Other things to note
Your host our environmentally conscious. We ask that you practice sustainable living as much as possible when our guest. Be mindful of energy and water consumption. Use our shopping bags that are provided to you during the stay. We have detergent sheets for you to use in lieu of large unrecyclable plastic detergent bottles. Take care of our Island and she will take care of you.
