Una propiedad vacacional recientemente terminada con vista a la bahía de Eagle Head. Esta hermosa casa de una habitación es el lugar perfecto para relajarse y descansar. Situada en una calle tranquila que termina en el océano, la naturaleza se desarrolla a la vuelta de la esquina. Puede sentarse en la cubierta y escuchar los pájaros cantores, junto con el oleaje de las olas o pasear 300 pies hasta la playa de arena para caminar o nadar. We stayed in Eagle Head for two weeks in August and had a lovely holiday. We enjoyed the quiet bay and the beautiful beaches nearby. The sea was warm enough for long swims. We enjoyed cycling on the small country roads nearby. Several coastal towns and villages are lovely. Thanks to our hosts!

Peace and tranquility

I had an amazing stay this rental cottage, enjoyed beautiful sunsets, deer on the property, and a nice hike behind the cottage. It was quiet and relaxing, everything that I was hoping for. If ever in the area again, I will definitely return here.

This was by far one of the nicest vacation spots we’ve ever rented. We immediately felt at home because Brian and Cathie have created a space that has everything you could ever need. The welcome muffins as soon as we got there were just one of the touches that made us feel so very welcome. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Quiet getaway with beautiful sunsets.

The rental was exactly as advertised. It's a beautiful, very clean and new condo with a comfortable king size bed in a quiet area right at the water with beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped with one needs to cook a meal. Brian was a great host. He was very welcoming and provided helpful info about the area and tips on what to do. His wife even sent us some freshly baked muffins. It's a short walk to a quiet beach and there's a very nice hiking trail through the woods behind the house. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the place!

Excellent Rental

The rental was exactly as advertised. This was our first trip to Nova Scotia. Brian and Cathy were very friendly and a wealth of information on where to go and what to see in the area.

Cozy, quiet, beautiful sunsets!

A lovely cottage on the hill overlooking Eagle Head Bay on a dead end road. The house is very nicely decorated with a folk art feel and Cathie has made many beautiful rug hook wall hangings, pillows etc. Brian is as sweet and genuine a host as you could ever ask for and all his recommendations for sights to see and places to eat were spot on. Both he and Cathie were very gracious hosts, the cottage is in a perfect location for exploring and to come back to for a glass of wine at the end of the day. Would definitely stay here again!

A Gem!

We loved our 8 days at this cottage. The location was perfect for us, practically at the end of a quiet road and directly in front of the ocean. It was a short walk to the beautiful Eagle Head beach accessible at low tide. Seeing the seals so close on the rocks was a thrill. Beach Meadows Beach which has to be one of the very best beaches on the South Shore is just a short drive. And we found delicious sourdough bread at the Five Girls Baking Bakery in Liverpool, perhaps 20 minutes away. The cottage itself is super clean, with a great mix of comfortable, quality furniture in a whimsical decor. The kitchen is filled with beautiful dishes and all the cookware, tools and kitchen gadgets you could want. The hosts, Brian and Cathie are very congenial, helpful and at the same time, respectful of your privacy. We had a perfect stay!

we had a wonderful time at "Surf's up'. The house is very clean and has a modern look. The view is fantastic and for someone who looks for a very quiet spot this is a place to go for. The owner is very helpful and gives good recommendations what needs to be visited. Some places they mentioned wouldn't be visited without their help because they are hidden. So all in all well deserved five stars.

Surfs Up Oceanfront is the best!!

Our stay at the Mourre's property at Eagle Head is something my wife and I will always treasure and never forget. First and foremost, they are wonderful people and the best hosts ever. The cottage is spotless and decorated perfectly. A short walk to a quiet beach. An easy drive for food, gas, restaurants, and provisions. I could go on and on. Thanks Brian and Cathie!!!

Exceptional Vacation Rental

Surf's Up, in Eagle Head Bay, was a wonderful place to stay! Brian was so welcoming on our arrival. Property was immaculate inside and out. The one-level house was open and airy, tastefully decorated and equipped with absolutely everything one could need, including cookies and snacks on arrival! Views were wonderful with easy walking access to beach from the property and to beautiful Beach Meadows beach nearby. A quiet and restful spot to return to after exploring the South Shore. Highly recommend this property and hope to return for another visit. Thanks Brian and Cathie!!!

Perfect Getaway

A lovely spot, we were perfectly happy here spending a few days. The hospitality of the host was beyond compare, he made us feel like friends we have known for years. Everything was exactly how it should be, from the comfy bed to the well-appointed kitchen. Spotlessly clean. The area was great to explore & Brian gave us wonderful suggestions on where to go and eat. We have done a lot of VRBO stays and this was one of the best. The ride from the ferry in Yarmouth was longer than expected, so we didn't take the time to go to the Bay of Fundy, which was on the other side so that was a bit disappointing. But the property was great.

Great location for anything on the south shore! The cottage is tucked away on a quiet street right along a beautiful bay. Brian was super friendly and a big help with areas to see or things to do! Great beaches to visit all within short driving distance. Two grocery stores 15 mins away made it super easy to stock up. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Relaxing peaceful stay

Top notch property in a quiet location. Looks brand new. Host is in a home in front of the property and is very helpful with info on the area. Loved the king size bed. Beautifully decorated as well.

Amazing getaway spot

What a great spot for a getaway. The location is perfect with amazing views of the bay and several great beaches close by. The patio is a great spot to listen to the waves or the birds or take in a sunset. Brian and Cathie are excellent hosts, super friendly with lots of great advice (we LOVED the LaHave Bakery!). And the cottage was SPOTLESS, amazingly clean and very well outfitted with every kitchen appliance and gadget you could want. This was our second time staying here and we’ll definitely be back for more. Super relaxing trip.

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted. The property is all 2 people could ask for. In addition, we were there the week hurricane Fiona passed through. The host ensured the generator was started when the power went out. A most enjoyable week

This place is a winner!

Hosts were available, helpful and interested in us having a good experience. Accommodation was clean, well stocked with supplies (food condiments, towels, etc), and all equipment was functional (oven, window latches, lights, etc). It was obvious the hosts were concerned that we enjoyed our visit. We DID. Book this place with confidence.
