Perfect location

Wonderful stay in a great part of San Francisco. Parking was easy, access to the water and walking trails in sight of the bridge was fantastic. Laura was a great host. Highly recommended.

Perfect Location

The rental was great and the outdoor space is a huge bonus. Couldn't believe that it was only a few minute walk to get to the water. Great restaurants all around and beautiful walks along the bay. Would definitely recommend it!

Perfect Marina studio apartment for our week in SF

Fun stay in wonderful neighborhood

It's hard to imagine a better location! It is a lovely, quiet neighborhood with fantastic restaurants and shops. You're right at the marina, and if you enjoy a good walk, you can go to Fisherman's Wharf, the Presidio, and the Golden Gate on foot. Groceries and espresso drinks are a very short and easy walk away. There are shared laundry facilities, and the garden is a delight.

Very nice, great location

Ground floor studio behind/through the garage. As nice as the photos suggest, with lovely private patio outside the french doors. Laura is a great host. Very clean and attractive space. Great, active neighborhood. Will definitely stay again.

Quiet Oasis

This property was better than I expected. The location is superb, and the unit is extremely quiet. Laura communicated very well about accessing the property, and making sure I was comfortable.

Perfect location, garden space for meals and open floor plan.

We loved it! My 2 boys (5 and 8) and I stayed here for a week vacation visiting family. We loved the open floor plan that also opened up to the garden/patio area. The outside area was very inviting and gave a great place to sit and relax outside. Great location near the water, quiet neighborhood and 1st floor location made it very easy to access. Even the tempur-pedic chair was extremely comfortable! We woudl return here again.

Quiet , safe great location in San Fran

I came to have knee surgery at the Stone clinic. Which is crutching distance away. Easy no stairs. Great location to the water front, view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Grocer store close by. The host Laura was very accommodating. Plus the backyard garden and bbq was a bonus. I would definitely come again.

Laura was a wonderful host. The studio met all our needs. The patio was incredible. The location was amazing. Couldn’t ask for more. Only issue was riding bicycles over the Golden Gate Bridge when it was very windy. Not recommended

Tip top on everything!!!

We were so happy to spend four amazing days at Laura's flat! We lucked out on the weather, every day sunny. The flat is immaculate, And coffee on the patio every morning! Laura provided so much information on best restaurants, things to do, and very detailed instructions for the flat. The Marina is the next street, great walking and oh so beautiful. Empty nesters

We came in to San Fran to see a concert and get away from normal life. This studio was perfect! There was plenty of room and the court yard was perfect. Laura was wonderful and so helpful! The bed was surprisingly comfortable! The neighborhood was so quite. We had a great time and most definitely will be back. Thank you Laura

Gracious hostess!

Laura was a gracious hostess and remained in regular communication to ensure my stay was successful and without incident. For example, when it began to rain, Laura contacted me to ask if I needed an umbrella. Very kind! There are many convenient options to eat, as well, which make this property exceptional, whether you're looking for a unique local restaurant, a Starbucks or a grocery store. The property was clean and the neighborhood location quiet and comfortable. I'll look forward to staying here again.

Amazing location, exceptional host!

My husband and I loved our stay at this property! Laura was an exceptional host who was very communicative and gave us a tour of the property when we checked in. She kept in touch during our stay and even went above and beyond by offering us her parking spot at one point if we had trouble finding our own. The rental has a large, open-floor plan with a gorgeous patio out back that was perfect for drinking coffee in the mornings. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. There is a Safeway conveniently located a couple of blocks away and the marina is close by as well. We had all the amenities we needed and were able to walk or scooter to some of our favorite places. I highly recommend this property and plan on staying here again in the future.

Nice place in Marina

Overall we enjoyed our experience at the garden apartment as well as the location. We tried a couple of restaurants that turned out to be very good and in walking distance. The property is more of a studio than a one bedroom but very spacious and well equipped. It would however not be suitable for people to be sleeping at different times as the bed is in the main room. Otherwise all was great and the bed was fine with us as it was just the two of us and we all went to bed at same time.

I am so glad you liked my place. It is listed as having 0 bedrooms and therefore a studio as there is no designation for studio otherwise so perhaps that caused confusion. Also at 800 sq ft it is so large it is as large as many 1 bedroom apts which is always a pleasant surprise for guests.

Peaceful and quiet

We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful environment here. The unit was clean , and close to everything we needed. Our only disappointment was the bed. It appeared to be a type of fold out wall bed, that was set up. The bed was against the wall , on one side , thereby making it impossible to get out of in the middle of the night without disturbing my partner. The mattress was comfortable. Laura was very accommodating, allowing us a late checkout on departure day, and communicated well with all of our questions when we booked. Thank you Laura.

So sorry if there was any confusion...while the bed frame is attached to wall I use it as a permanent bed with a standard queen mattress with a thick topper (all brand new)and very sturdy and comfortable. The bed frame stays permanently in place. Since this is a studio the space on only one side of bed is narrower. I have moved it out further based on your suggestion. Based on my reviews it seems to have worked for my guests.

Cozy, peaceful, relaxing place

I stayed at Laura's place for the Escape from Triathlon race. It was 2 blocks from the expo 3 blocks from transition, which made it perfect for rolling out of bed on race morning. And, made it easy for my race Sherpa to go back and forth to the condo while I raced. In the morning, we walked around the corner to sbux for coffee. We enjoyed walking to Chestnut neighborhood in the evenings for dinner. There was a great selection of restaurants to choose from. Safeway was so close. We decided to buy groceries for our other meals so we could eat out on the beautiful patio. What a lovely place! I would certainly stay again when I go race in SF again. Give little Benny a hug and kiss from me. Thank you for your hospitality!

I am a long time SF resident and love my international city and helping others discover its beauty and nooks and crannies. This is highly desirable and quiet neighborhood and one of the few areas where you really don't need a car and everyone is safe strolling at all times.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I love walking by the waterfront for sunsets, looking for seals that bob around the bay and never tire of looking at the GG bridge. This is my favorite neighborhood with gorgeous views that everyone thinks of when they see pictures of San Francisco. Neighborhood has a fun vibe with lots of fabulous restaurants, wine bars and shops.

Unique with flowering private patio setting with a nice BBQ. Beautiful architecture, quiet neighborhood with postcard-like vistas everywhere you look. First floor (so no stairs to climb either). Walking distance to main attractions or San Francisco.
