Summary:

Great duplex near the beach in the center of North Myrtle Beach.

* about five minutes walk to the beach

*a few minutes drive to restaurants and stores

*about 5 minutes drive to Main Street

*10 minutes drive to Barefoot Landing.

*PET OWNERS: Only fully trained pets are allowed with a pet fee but must be pre-approved by host. Please contact me for details.



The Space:

*Private patio.

*Washer/ dryer available in the unit.

*Kitchen is fully equipped with all basics (condiments are not included).

*Dining area.

*Sheets and linens provided.

*Pets are allowed with a pet fee. please don't forget to mention if you're bringing any pets with you.

*Free WiFi and cable TV available.

*Beach items are not included due to damage/loss of these items.

*Towels are provided for showers only.



Guest Access:

*The unit is rented in full. Guests have access to the entire unit.

*No mailbox for this location.

*Washer/dryer available in the unit.

*Parking is free (2 parking spots available)



Other Things to Note:

*Please review my house rules.

*NO mailbox for this location.

*Due to the fact that some guests have allergies, Pets are not allowed on beds and furniture and must be caged when you're not home. In case of finding any evidence that pets were on the beds, blankets or furniture, the guests will be charged for additional cleaning fee.

*Only initial amount of toiletries, paper towel and toilet paper provided, guests should bring their own extras.

*Bed sheets are provided (one set per bed)

*Bath towels are included (one per guest, must not leave unit)

*Bring your own beach towels (do not use bath towels)

*the house is inspected prior to your arrival to make sure all is clean and working properly. please contact me immediately for any questions or concerns.

Pictures on the site do not depict the actual poor condition of this duplex. We stayed in the down stairs unit and the pictures of the duplex that I have uploaded will give you a better idea of what you will find at this duplex.

This apt was nothing like advertised. We arrived very late at night & were exhausted. I would have checked out the next morning bit it would have lost approx 1,600.The communication from the owner was always prompt. The couch and beds are new. The apt was dusted and "cleaned", yet it is filthy. There is mold, mildew and dirt everywhere. I notified the owner and she offered to bring her cleaners in again, but this is not a dusting and floor mop problem, this property needs a massive deep cleaning. Instructions said to use makeup wipes, but this is a joke as almost all of the towels are already stained. Kitchen is advertised as fully stocked, there is nothing to use in the oven, there were 3 spoons, and 1 sharp knife. etc. Dishes were not clean. The exterior is just as bad. Trash all over the courtyard area. Green algae all over the front deck and exterior of the building. The refrigerator broke, the owner responded quickly saying she placed a call to the repair person, then nothing. When I texted her later in the day, she told us he would not come until the next day. No follow up call, nothing. By then everything in the fridge was warm and had to be thrown out. He came the next day, he had to order a part. 3 days without a fridge. There is a hole at the base of one of the exterior doors. We had bugs and even a gecko. I will say that we had a miscommunication about our check out date and by the time we were notified and packed up, we were 2 hrs late & the owner was gracious.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear that communication was prompt and that you found the new beds and couch comfortable. I do, however, want to clarify several points for accuracy and for future guests. All the issues you mentioned — including the refrigerator, cleaning concerns, and kitchen items — have already been fully addressed since your stay. When you reached out about cleanliness, I immediately offered to send cleaners back, but you declined. While many of your comments were mentioned only after your departure, I still took them seriously and have already completed a full deep cleaning and inspection of the entire unit, including the exterior areas. Regarding the refrigerator: As soon as you let me know it wasn’t cooling properly, I contacted the appliance technician right away. Unfortunately, he could not come the same day, and the repair required ordering a part — something outside of my control. This was communicated to you as soon as I received the update. The kitchen is stocked according to what is listed, and I have since added additional utensils and baking items. I appreciate you noting that I was flexible during your delayed checkout, and I’m committed to continuing to improve the experience for future guests.
