Terri's barndominium exceeded my expectations! It was clean, organized and had everything we needed for a week stay. The location was very quiet and relaxing but close to many area attractions. Terri was an excellent host! We would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend to others!

This rental was perfect for our needs. It was close to the venue for a wedding we attended which was why we booked here but we would stay again just because! The area is beautiful and the space was perfect for our family of 5. Beds were comfortable and space was very clean.

Our stay was very enjoyable! Even though we had such great access to Crystal mountain it felt very private and peaceful. We would definitely stay at this lovely hideaway again. As one final note, the heated floors were quite luxurious

Perfection! The host thinks of everything to make your stay amazing, Michigan treats, doggie treats,beautiful flowers and a warm and inviting place to hang out and lay your head. The barndo is close to beaches, resturants, Crystal mountain, great hiking, and the new casino. The HOT tub is an added bonus!!! Thank you for sharing your little slice of Heaven.

This was exactly what we needed as an escape to test and recover around Ironman Michigan 70.3. The peace and quiet was absolutely perfect and the accommodations were ideal. The hot tub was just what the doctor ordered after the race. And as a bonus, we had a free wildlife show when two young fawns came to see what the strange creatures on the deck were.The restaurant recommendation/menu drawer was very helpful. Next time I will stay longer so I can explore the region and not just focus on the race.

The barndominium was so nice and the host has added so many nice modern extras! The location was perfect for us with Benzonia close by for restaurants or groceries yet in a peaceful, quiet setting. The kitchen was stocked nicely if you choose to prepare a meal there instead of eating out. We loved enjoying coffee or cocktails on the private deck out back. I highly recommend staying here!

Teri, the host, was available and very attentive. The snow was cleared for us and parking was convenient.The accommodations were clean and comfortable with some fun amenities. We loved the heated floors, indirect lighting and rustic chic decor.We would definitely return!

Amazing Retreat

We absolutely loved our time at this retreat. It was the perfect spot for our little family. Clean and comfortable and a good central location to nearby places like Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Crystal Lake and more. The communication with the owner was fantastic. We plan to come back again for another stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at the barndominimum with our pups! It's quiet and private but close to restaurants, trails and beaches of Frankfort and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Teri has chosen beautiful cabin decor and stocks the cabin with some of the most thoughtful touches I've seen. Very nice bathroom supplies, washer/dryer access, and a well stocked kitchen.

This property was great. It was private, clean and just as described. My only suggestion would be to lower the TV in the living room. My husband has had neck surgery and has limited mobility of his neck which made it difficult to watch TV for him there. Overall our stay was wonderful and if we are in the area again would definitely stay here. Thanks for being a great host.

The Barndominium is a great place to stay! The host is very responsive and even sent us weather updates during our drive from Indiana as we traveled with an incoming winter storm. We stayed cozy warm and comfortable while snowed in on our first day. The host took good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a great place to stay for a family ski trip in the area. It was very clean and inviting - a winter wonderland! Highly recommend!

This barndominium was fantastic! The homeowners spared no expense and all of the furnishings and finishing touches were outstanding. All the electronics and electrical gadgetry, including television and Wi-Fi were top-of-the-line. Outdoor furniture was tremendous very clean very well maintained!

Overall our stay was great! Cute little barndominium off the beaten path but not too far out of way. Easy travel to Frankfort. The property was very clean and well maintained. We loved the rustic decor. Not a huge fan of the TV location but if that’s the only negative that we have, then the VRBO owners must be doing something right!I loved that laundry soap, bath soaps, shampoo & conditioner was provided. Makes ease of packing so simple. Ohhh and a stock Keurig is always a perk!

WE enjoyed our stay at the Barndominimum in Benzonia, It was peaceful, and close to everything we wanted to experience, Great hiking trails,beaches Frankfort, all of our favorite restaurants. I would like to keep this place a secret since we love it so much. Coffee on the deck in the morning, hot tub and the grill in the afternoon. It is so clean and has up to date shower and kitchen amenities. Our 2 Golden Retrievers enjoy the abliity to run and play out side. This was our second visit, and we will be back again. Can't wait to return !!!!
