About the property

1 Bedroom/Bath condo that is perfect for a couple - Lone Peak & River View

You will love this 1 bedroom/1 bathroom condo! It is decorated with a beautiful mountain elegance and is immaculately kept-up. This condo features panoramic windows for watching wildlife from the living room and has a patio that overlooks a large pond, which is west fork of the Gallatin river and has an impressive view of Lone Peak Mountain. Often there are sightings of resident moose, elk, otter and geese from the living room!

Also featured in the living room is a large leather couch for enjoying a glass of wine while viewing wildlife or any movie in the DVD selection available for your pleasure. The condo is a very short stroll to the jacuzzi and a seasonal outdoor pool/sunning area. There is free Wi-Fi available during your stay.

The condo is located close to the quaint Meadow Village & Town Center of Big Sky and is on the Big Sky Golf Course. It is a quick drive or stroll to a number of fine dining establishments, boutique stores, farmer's market, movie theater, and free summer musical concerts offered for your enjoyment. However, the condo is off the main road and very quiet with ample open space and groomed grassy areas.

If you are considering a winter stay, there is 85 km of groomed cross-country trails just across the street. Other local winter activities include snowshoeing, snowmobiling, yurt mountain dining, sled dog trips, horse sleigh rides and Yellowstone National Park tours. There is also the best downhill skiing and snowboarding in the country with NO lift lines. Big Sky has the largest amount of pristine ski terrain in the United States for your enjoyment. Take the free shuttle to Big Sky or Moonlight Basin ski area only 10 minutes away. (Shuttle stop is located about 3 blocks from condo.)

If you are planning a summer stay in Big Sky, the area offers many wonderful outdoor adventures and sports. The condo is located on the Arnold Palmer designed golf course and it is a classic link-style 18 Holes/72 Par course. This beautiful public course and intimate clubhouse is located within walking distance from your doorstep.

If a fly-fishing adventure is your preferred activity, you have chosen the perfect place to explore world-class fishing. The Gallatin River is one of the three blue ribbon fishing rivers in the area, along with the Madison and Yellowstone Rivers. Located within minutes from the condo, the Gallatin River offers 40 miles of fishing water which is public land that is easily accessed since the highway closely follows the river. (We had additional information available on fly-fishing these local rivers once you have booked the condo.)

Many other sports are featured in the area such as: mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, ATV riding, zip lining, hunting, horse back riding, rock climbing, hunting excursions, white water rafting and trips to Yellowstone National Park. (Complimentary bikes, snowshoes and a sled are also available for your pleasure with this condo!)

You will love our place! It is very homey, warm and welcoming. We would greatly appreciate no pets or smoking so we can keep the place in inviting condition for your next stay. Come enjoy this truly amazing part of Southwest Montana. As the locals say, "Come for the winter, and stay for summer."

Beautiful deck views and nicely decorated.

  • 4 of 5

We had a great 5 days. Home is comfortable and a good location for what we wanted to do while in Mt. Owner was helpful with condo info and hiking trail suggestions. The only thing we'd change is the bed mattress needs to be replaced. We are light sleepers and every turn and movement the bed creaked loudly. Made for not very good rest at night. We would definitely return and highly recommend this condo if we knew that one issue was taken care of.

At Home on the Range

We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The location (great view and convenient nearby access to restaurants) is a real plus, along with the attractive Western decor. The very responsive heating system quickly warms the condo to whatever your comfort level is.

Amazing condo in a quiet/peaceful location. Great views and centrally located so it was easy & efficient to get anywhere. Really clean with rich furnishings. We really loved our stay and wished we could've stayed longer. Owners were fast communicators and very accommodating! Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location, Charming Place

  • 5 of 5

Great place! Location was perfect for us, close to several dinning places and a short drive to Big Sky Resort. Had a wonderful time. Two Moose hung out out back on the golf course all week. Saw several Big horn sheep as well as a herd of Elk. Charming place, beautiful rustic decor. Cross country skiing right out the door. The only complaint I can think of is the shower head is very low and very loud bath fan. Overall was a great place for a good price. Thank you!
